George Zimmerman was arrested today and was headed for the Seminole County Jail, according to Sheriff Don Eslinger.
It’s not clear what happened or what crime he’s accused of committing, but just before 1:30 p.m., Eslinger confirmed that Zimmerman had been arrested and was being driven to the county jail in Sanford.
He said more information would be available shortly.
WESH-Channel 2 reported that Zimmerman was accused of domestic violence by a girlfriend.
The Sheriff’s Office, in a short news release, reported that the agency had arrested Zimmerman after being called to a disturbance on Topfield Court in western Seminole County near Apopka about 1 p.m.
Zimmerman’s new girlfriend, a 27-year-old blonde, lives in the 1300 block of Topfield Court, according to an unrelated Lake Mary police report.
Zimmerman, 30, is the former Neighborhood Watch volunteer who was acquitted in July on a charge that he murdered Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, last year.
Since then, Zimmerman has had a string of run-ins with law enforcement. In September he was handcuffed by Lake Mary police but released after his estranged wife, Shellie, and her father accused him of threatening them with a gun while they were moving out her belongings.
Zimmerman had arrived at that scene with a woman, Samantha Scheibe, who was described a few days later as his girlfriend by Shellie Zimmerman’s attorney, Kelly Sims.
Last week, Lake Mary police officially closed that case, saying they had no solid evidence that Zimmerman had broken the law.
When they searched Zimmerman that afternoon, he had no gun, but he has a concealed weapons permit, and Scheibe told Lake Mary police that the couple was in lawful possession of guns that day in their vehicle.
According to that Sept. 9 incident report, Scheibe “stated she had no idea what was going on and was visibly shaken.”
She answered only a few questions from officers that day and refused to give a written statement.

Good, I hope this cop wanna be has to sit the max on this. He is a known lier, just look at that murder trial in florida when he said he had no money but his other half had something like $200,000. . He is a criminal that thinks that he can get away with whatever he wants including murder. Typical cop.

Yes Angel, zimmrman is lying through his teeth on that video. The only reason he is saying what he is is because he knows he is going to jail on felony charges and he is using this phone conversation as a defense for himself…. I heard on the news that the judge denied him bail today. Now that punk zimmerman can be a jail house snitch.
I would like to know where this zimmerman punk is getting the money for gas for his vehicle and for food and other things one may need seeing as to how pennyless he was during the Martin trial…….He kind of reminds me of a damned fed undercover seeing as to how he is always getting away with what ever he wants and he seems to always have money for his vehicle etc.
If you stop and rationalize every thing thats happened with this guy………………..And I mean ALL EMOTIONS ASIDE…….None of the stories or “outcomes” make any sense.
IF hes an “insider”…why do the cops(bad) keep gunning for him?
IF he is threatening folks with a firearm…why is no gun ever found or verified to have been there?
If he is a bad guy,..why does he show up to pull folks from a burning car?
Why do those who say he threatened them normally drop the charges or the cops find the story to be not credible?
If the cops(all cops are rouge therefore corrupt) keep trying to pin this guy why doent any of the shit stick? You know the DA wants his ass and anybody else in america can be shot at and tazered for just driving a van with kids……….what gives here?
If this dude aint bad and is working for the good side…(I doubt it) who is he working for and what does he know that makes him a target ,yet has him shielded from harm?

Zimmerman said out of his own mouth that there were two guns – his was a shotgun and there was a 9mm that belonged to his girlfreind. That was in the link Angel posted @ 4:01 above……. there was a fedagent that had a hard on for me and my lawyer pulled his files and this is exactly what this asa fed undercover was about, just like this zimmerman creep…….. Yea they will lock a fed agent up in jail so he can be a jail house snitch. The one that screwed me got $500.00 just for ratting on someone and his woud bust three or four a month and this was back in the mid 80`s, that would be $1500. – $2000. in just one month. Yea oldvet, those feds will make it look like the police are singleing him out but in reality they are some of the dirtiest two faced bastards. ….. Ya see oldvet that is why he always walks when he gets arrested. He is a lowlife. Man oldbet, I have been f`ed with a quit a few times many years ago by them and I do know what they are about.
