Sioux Falls, SD Police arrested a 36-year-old Sioux Falls man Wednesday for human trafficking.
Authorities responded to a 911 call from 231 S. Phillips Avenue just before 11 p.m Tuesday night. The address belonged to Jonathan David Cohen, where police discovered that a 16-year-old runaway from Georgia was staying there with him.
According to the investigation, police discovered that Cohen had arranged for the teen to get to Sioux Falls from Georgia.
Cohen faces charges for human trafficking, promoting prostitution, sexual exploitation of a minor, and solicitation of a minor.
Sanford Health confirms Cohen is a doctor in Sioux Falls; he was placed on administrative leave when the health care system was notified of the accusations.
