A state of emergency has been issued in West Virginia and all water banned after a chemical spill into a river has caused the West Virginia American Water Company to issue notice that their water supply had become contaminated. This has led to a run on bottled water as West Virginians stock up until this disaster can be alleviated. Bars and restaurants have also been forced to close down.
