Stephen Hawking: ‘We Need a World Government or Technology Will Destroy Us’

The Daily Sheeple

Physicist Stephen Hawking, who some have suggested is a conspiracy if and of himself, is now claiming we need “some form of world government” to protect us from the escalation of technology and artificial intelligence.

Via Yahoo!:

“Since civilisation began, aggression has been useful inasmuch as it has definite survival advantages,” he told The Times.

“It is hard-wired into our genes by Darwinian evolution. Now, however, technology has advanced at such a pace that this aggression may destroy us all by nuclear or biological war. We need to control this inherited instinct by our logic and reason.”

“The real risk with AI isn’t malice but competence,” Professor Hawking said. “A super intelligent AI will be extremely good at accomplishing its goals, and if those goals aren’t aligned with ours, we’re in trouble.

“You’re probably not an evil ant-hater who steps on ants out of malice, but if you’re in charge of a hydroelectric green energy project and there’s an anthill in the region to be flooded, too bad for the ants. Let’s not place humanity in the position of those ants.”

But sadly the world government might cause its own issues as well.

“But that might become a tyranny,” he added. “All this may sound a bit doom-laden but I am an optimist. I think the human race will rise to meet these challenges.”

…which reminds us of what Hawking said last year — that we are flat out “doomed” unless we get off this planet and go to another one.

Then again…

A lot of people claim this guy below isn’t even the real Stephen Hawking:

And that this guy below who was definitely Stephen Hawking succumbed to his ALS, died decades ago, and was replaced by the guy in the picture above:

Not only pointing out obvious physical differences here but just consider the fact that no one else on the planet has ever lived this long, past the age of 70 now, after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Hawking was diagnosed with it at the age of 21 by the way.

And the theory goes that now they just wheel out an imposter when they want someone to make culturally important statements that support the global agenda, statements like “We need a world government”.

Crazy…?

Or… possible?

In a world of fake news run by fake false flag events, a world of virtual and augmented reality, nothing is really impossible anymore.

  1. If this guy is being used to push global government…….we have nothing to worry about….. The world’s elite are really getting super desperate to be whoring people with major diseases like this. Im not surprised…..not at all…..resistance isnt futile its fertile.

  2. What “he?” stated early on, and and what has been stated “supposedly” by “him?” the past while, are very! different! in all senses.

    Sumbuddy dun f’d up thar!

    mho

  3. Ironic that technology is what keeps this guy viable. Bitting the hand that feeds you Steven…..

  4. “Not only pointing out obvious physical differences here but just consider the fact that no one else on the planet has ever lived this long, past the age of 70 now, after being diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Hawking was diagnosed with it at the age of 21 by the way.”

    Good point.

  5. A global government is the LAST thing anyone should want if he desires what’s best for humanity. Centralized political power is the most dangerous thing in the world. Even if a global government were created with the best of intentions, sooner or later it WOULD be perverted into a global tyranny.

I don’t necessarily object to international law that’s limited in scope to preventing international conflict, as opposed to meddling in the internal affairs of nations. But for a body of international law to be enforced, the governing body would have to be a whole lot more effective than the current joke that is the UN. Veto powers would have to be eliminated. Legislation and resolutions would best be passed by supermajority vote.

  6. I just can’t take him seriously.
He runs off of batteries for Christ’s sake.
I guess he hasn’t quite solved that problem yet.
I hear Ray Kurtzweil called dibs on his brain when he reaches his shelf life expiration date.
