Again, I will say HELL YEAH TEXAS! Why? Texas takes care of business time and time again! This is huge.
As we all know, Obama has created an immigration crisis unlike any other. He has intentionally weakened our southern border to bring in Democratic voters as well as for other destructive reasons. It’s all a part of the big plan to bring down America. That is what he wants and he is doing one hell of a job!
Obama’s illegal amnesty has caused complete chaos for Texas and Governor Abbott has had enough!

Texas Governor Greg Abbott held a ceremony to sign the toughest and most comprehensive border security plan of any state in the United States of America. The legislative package provides historic levels of funding to secure the border, establishes a Child Sex Trafficking Prevention Unit, strengthens penalties for human traffickers, increases funding for the border protection unit, and seeks reimbursement from the federal government for Texas funds spent on border issues.
The Governor declared the plan a legislative priority, and one of his emergency legislative items during his State of the State address.
“We are doing this because border security has turned out to be a real challenge for the people of this state, not just on the border region but across communities across the entire state of Texas,” the Texas governor said.
Because of the magnitude of the challenge, Abbott declared securing the border an emergency issue. He added, “And the Texas legislature responded profoundly, and strongly.”

The Governor ended the ceremony by saying, “Now together these laws establish a comprehensive border security plan that will keep our state and our communities a safer place.”
Abbott signed the bills into law and declared, “Texas is now a safer place.”

Governor Greg Abbott today hosted a signing ceremony at the Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Regional Headquarters in Houston, TX, where he promoted his border security initiative – one of the Governor’s emergency legislative items. At the event, Governor Abbott ceremonially signed HB 11 (D. Bonnen, R-Angleton; Birdwell, R-Granbury), which, coupled with the state budget’s historic $800 million investment in border security, will accelerate DPS’s hiring of 250 additional troopers for the border region, provide additional training and equipment along the border and give prosecutors additional tools necessary to crack down on criminal cartel enterprises involved in human and drug smuggling.
“We cannot be naïve to the threat posed by drug cartels and transnational gangs. And Texas will not sit idly by while the federal government fails to do its job and secure the border,” said Governor Abbott. “I’m proud to sign legislation to implement measures that will help provide for the safety and security of communities across Texas.”
In addition to signing HB 11, Governor Abbott also signed bills that will establish a Child Sex Trafficking Prevention Unit, increase penalties for human traffickers and provide more resources to the border prosecution unit:
- HB 10 (Thompson, D-Houston: Huffman, R-Houston): Relating to certain criminal and civil consequences of trafficking of persons, compelling prostitution, and certain other related criminal offenses; to the prevention, prosecution, and punishment of those offenses, and to compensation paid to victims of those offenses.
- HB 12 (Longoria, D-Mission; Hinojosa, D-McAllen): Relating to the border prosecution unit.
- SCR 5 (Estes, R-Wichita Falls; R-Canton): Relating to the federal government’s responsibility to secure the border
This is great news! The Texas border has been unsecured for way too long.
Texas – with its lack of an income tax and a booming business economy – is a model for what conservative leadership can look like. Just think how much better the Lone Star state would be if there was a competent leader in the White House too?

Believe it or not there really is still cheap land in “the desert” in and around Big Bend National Park…and oh yeah open carry now and supposedly repatriation of gold from the Fed (still waiting to see if this isn’t just another Abbott dog-and-pony-show though…)

One way to fund it is to adopt legislation barring Texas citizens pay checks from being pilfered to via federal income taxes. Cut it and increase state income tax to fund what the feds were supposed to do. If they aren’t doing the job, they don’t get paid..just like the rest of us.

Exactly! And just why do we need income tax anyways in order to pay for our government or security?
Read the Constitution! Income tax is unconstitutional along with that unconstitutional 16 amendment that was never ratified.
We were prosperous BEFORE the treasonous amendment occurred. It was only after the elites put it in place that our country went downhill.

It pays the interest on the debt to the federal reserve.

Unless I hear, “Arresting and deporting all illegal immigrants that came through Texas and are still living in Texas, whether it be from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, etc. then this does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and only further sets up stronger control of the police state. Just look at the Dallas police department wanting to militarize their police department along with the Jade Helm exercises.
Governor Wheels is all show and numb to solving the root of the problem.

As a matter of fact, Wheels is just using this to assist the elite in creating greater control and security over the flow of drugs and guns crossing the border.

The illegals are not the problem, Washington is. Specifically, the Obama administration. The message to Obama should be: pay for our attempt to secure the border, or we secede from the union. You have 24 hours to respond. If secession requires a fight, do it anyway. I’m sure volunteers from other states would flood the highways to Texas. People all over are sick to death of this unAmerican prick.

This story needs to be broken down. Abbott is just another shill.
I will believe it when he actually “changes” border security, restores the republic’s constitution and openly tells dc and the dhs to shove it.
The problem is the expectation that someone else (the feds) are going to do a job that you are capable of doing yourself. While it is true they “say” they are going to do it, and the border is “secure”, everyone knows it’s not.
So stop taking them for their word, and lock it down yourselves. Simply ignore Washington DC.
And, you can’t just shoot someone that is at the border, that’s a violation of the Constitution (due process), and you don’t know if they are illegal or not through the scope of your rifle. Just because you think they are is not “proof”.
But you can arrest them, and if they are found guilty simply have them do something productive in prison for 20 years to help fund the state. End of problem.

I live only 25 minutes from California’s southern border, and we have been cited as “Hostile” by Jade Helm-15. California hasn’t got the balls as does Texas, and that I am ashamed of.
Our idiotic liberal state is drowning in debt and are now suffering a major drought which will cause the dwindling of revenue for the state, such that it will decrease the revenues to fight illegal immigration.
That, along with the large Agri Business lobby wanting to protect those illegal immigrants such that they can care for the fields and orchards basically leaves us at the mercy of the gangs and illegal drug traffickers.
We even had men putting out jugs of water for the illegals, so as to keep them from leaving their dead bodies laying in the desert as Vulture food.
I believe the four states bordering northern Mexico should put their state’s national guard at the border and keep them there until the tide of illegal immigration is cut down to zero.
