A Texas Tech University student arrested for drugs in his dorm, pulled a gun out at the campus police station and shot an officer in the head, according to school officials and police Monday night.

The police officer has reportedly died.

The student and alleged cop killer has been identified as Hollis Daniels.

The campus was on lock down. Officials alerted students to take shelter but have since lifted the order after Daniels was apprehended a second time.

An armed Daniels roamed the Lubbock, TX campus after escaping custody for more than an hour before being re-arrested.

  1. Seems like when ever we are ready to completely write off this younger generation; a small beacon of light shines through; and gives us at least a little hope. Here is a young man, facing the loss of his freedoms at only 19 years of age at the hands of a tyrannical state. Instead of selfishly thinking only of himself; he thinks about his duty to the rest of society; and does the right thing. A rare gem , these days.

    1. Spot on, Big Jim.

Maybe the kid reads alt-news, and figured he was about to be suicided, and got his retaliation in first.

  2. A SCARED KID……… (WHO TRULY FEARED FOR HIS LIFE, AND RIGHTLY SO…)

    REST IN PEACE DUDE….
