  1. We need to find a way to extract greed out of the equation. We have the technology to provide free energy to planet, non-polluting, clean energy to make our world a heaven on earth. Like J.D. Rockefeller’s response to Tesla’s free energy, it is in the human psyche that greed abounds. Rockefeller ruined Tesla because he would have lost his dynasty in the oil and delivery system he owned. Once Rockefeller realized he would be unable to “put a meter” on “free energy” for everyone, well, he wasn’t going to let that happen. Here’s a sample of what I believe would have been Rockefeller’s thought’s at the time. “What, I can’t screw the peons out of their hard earned money for my own financial gain? I will no longer be able to pollute the groundwater with drilling, the sea water with oil spills, and the atmosphere with the toxic exhaust just to squeeze that last dime out. We can’t have “free energy”, it would ruin me financially.” The water powered car, it’s too good to be true but who would offer a billion dollars to the inventor of something that didn’t work. They should have offered 10 billion but some people can’t be bought. Instead, they just poison you. It all still boils down to the businessman. “How can I f#*k people a little harder and a little deeper until they drop that last dime out between their butt cheeks.” It really just makes me sick to be awakened to the cold, hard truth of these greedy and power hungry sons of bitches who are more than happy to ruin the planet for their own financial gain. I’m certain there’s a special place in hell waiting for these greedy a$$holes and it comforts me to think that they will “burn in hell” through eternity. Excellent post Wade.

    1. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? There is some wisdom in that book but what always made me wonder was the unsatiable quest for something that has no intrinsic value. True you can buy stuff but that stuff requires a lot of labor, maintenance and more currency to hold on to it and make it last. Then you need more stuff to hold on to your stuff and soon you become a slave to your stuff and risk other people wanting to acquire your stuff. I remember George Carlin did a thing on stuff and it was all true.

To me it is just too much energy and commitment, for me having enough to pay the bills and have some left over was good. I always found it to be fun to save up for something, for I know I enjoyed it more than if I had the where with all to buy anything or as much as I wanted but that’s me.

      1. Hey GrinNBarrett, I’m guessing you aren’t one to pay the fee for exclusive Sam’s Club. What a scam that is.
