  1. The biggest losers in school taxes are home schoolers! We get nothing for paying school taxes, plus we are forced to subsidize crappy education of others whose parents refuse or simply cannot educate their own kids.

  2. The Texas state constitution actually states that Texans will pay property taxes. This was put in at the beginning of Texas becoming a state. I don’t like it a bit.

  3. A friend pays 6k in just school taxes a year, He has no kids , He used to make 70k a year till his company of 2 decades got ate up by a Multi national corp. Closed down,moved out. Now he’s making 12 bucks an hour wiping ass. He’s a worker. Not dumb by any means. He hopes he’ll still have a pension when he goes to retire. He just took up a second job at age 54.
