Unconfirmed Report: The US Government’s Ongoing Blackmailing of the Iraqi Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense

In the News Today

INTELCASTER – The following is a report that is yet to be fully confirmed or refuted. However, in light of the recent events and developments it is certainly worth it to take notes and archive everything. The US its reckless and baseless declaration of war against Iran has forced the entire Middle East into balancing on a cliff, on one foot with a sprained ankle.

Iraqi Parliament Session 2020/1/5: Iraqi Prime Minister Explains the US’ Blackmailing of the Iraqi Government

Musa Abbas, Shaker Zalloum, BEIRUT – Why did Halbousi (the Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives) attend Parliament and the Sunni Representatives and the Kurdish Parliament Representatives did not?

Likewise, how come a whole bloc, Al-Nasr (Victory Alliance) – created by former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, abstained from the vote to expel foreign soldiers?

Al-Halbousi’s eagerness to attend the parliament session was to prevent Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi from speaking and expose the American position.

After the American side became aware of Mr. Adel Abdul-Mahdi’s intentions of direct conversation and his insistence on revealing many hidden facts, the Americans asked Al-Halbousi to attend this session today and not to allow Mr. Abdul Mahdi to speak directly.

Al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, blocked the speech of Mr. Abdul Mahdi in the scheduled session to discuss the decision to remove American forces from Iraq.

At the beginning of the session, Al-Halbousi left his seat and sat next to Mr. Abdul-Mahdi (the Prime Minister). Al-Halbousi asked to cut off the live broadcast of the session and an open conversation took place between the two parties.

Here is the text of the conversation, which took place according to what the deputies sitting near the platform heard.

American Bargaining for the Reconstruction of Iraq

Mr. Abdul Mahdi (the Prime Minister) spoke with an angry tone, saying:

“The Americans are the ones who destroyed the country and wreaked havoc here. They are the ones who refuse to complete building the electrical system and infrastructure projects. They have bargained for the reconstruction of Iraq in exchange for 50% of Iraq’s oil, so I refused and decided to go to China and concluded an important and strategic agreement with China. Today Trump is trying to cancel this important agreement.”

Next, the American President’s threat to the Iraqi Prime Minister to liquidate him and the Minister of Defense. Also, concerning US Marines and American private contractors being the “third party” that sniped demonstrators and security men (at least from October 1, 2019 to November 29, 2019, during the protests in Iraq that led to Abdul Mahdi’s resignation):

Abdul Mahdi continued:

“After my return from China, Trump called me and asked me to cancel the agreement. I also refused. He threatened me with massive demonstrations that would topple me. Indeed, the demonstrations started and afterwards Trump called, threatening to escalate in the event of failure to cooperate and respond to his desires. So, a third party [Marines snipers, private contractors] began targeting the protesters and security forces and killed them from the highest structures and the US embassy in an attempt to pressure me and submit to his wishes and cancel the China agreement. I did not respond and submitted my resignation. Now the Americans still insist, to this day, on canceling the China agreement. When the defense minister told us that the demonstrators were being shot by a third party, Trump called me immediately. I also was physically threatened.”
