The US on Thursday announced a new massive $2.5 billion arms package for Ukraine that includes Stryker armored combat vehicles for the first time.
The tranche of weapons includes 90 Strykers and 55 Bradley Fighting Vehicles, which the US first pledged to send to Ukraine as part of an over $3 billion arms package that was announced earlier this month.
The package also includes munitions for the National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS), Mine Resistant Ambush Protected Vehicles (MRAPs), and other equipment.
The Strykers are made by General Dynamics and are designed to transport troops with extra protection, similar to the Bradleys. The Stryker is lighter and faster than the Bradleys and is on wheels as opposed to tracks.
Both vehicles can be used to go on the offense, and that’s what US officials have in mind for the new transfer. Germany and France have also pledged to send similar armored vehicles.
The UK said it would send 14 of its main battle tanks, the Challenger 2, but it’s not clear if Kyiv will get more Western-made heavy tanks. Berlin is hesitant to sign off on deliveries of its Leopard 2, and US officials signaled this week that they wouldn’t be sending the M1 Abrams.
While Ukraine is receiving a significant amount of new armor, Valery Zaluchny, the commander of the Ukrainian armed forces, said in December that he needs at least 300 heavy tanks and 600-700 fighting vehicles if he is to stand a chance to drive Russia out of the territory it’s captured.
According to the Pentagon, the full $2.5 billion arms package includes the following:
- Additional munitions for NASAMS
- Eight Avenger air defense systems
- 59 Bradley Infantry Fighting Vehicles (IFVs) with 590 TOW anti-tank missiles and 295,000 rounds of 25mm ammunition
- 90 Stryker Armored Personnel Carriers (APCs) with 20 mine rollers
- 53 MRAPS
- 350 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs)
- 20,000 155mm artillery rounds
- Approximately 600 precision-guided 155mm artillery rounds
- 95,000 105mm artillery rounds
- Approximately 11,800 120mm mortar rounds
- Additional ammunition for HIMARS
- 12 ammunition support vehicles
- 6 command post vehicles
- 22 tactical vehicles to tow weapons
- High-speed Anti-radiation missiles (HARMs)
- Approximately 2,000 anti-armor rockets
- Over 3,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition
- Demolition equipment for obstacle clearing
- Claymore anti-personnel munitions
- Night vision devices
- Spare parts and other field equipment
US military aid for Ukraine is being pulled from funds that have already been authorized by Congress and signed into law by President Biden, which at this point amounts to about $113 billion.
I only listened to bits and pieces of Putin’s so-called “great speech,” but it was enough to discern where he places blame, not only for the war but for societal demise in general. Of course he names the United States as the great enemy of humanity, along with its western allies (NATO). Fine, they are all players in the game. But Putin never mentions that our country (like most others) has been hijacked by Zionist Jews, and by hijacked I mean they maneuvered their way up into positions of power in government, commerce, academia, medicine, media, and upended the traditional values of the land creating both poverty, perversion, and chaos for many, many people. And who can forget photos of (KGB) Putin in talks with Chabad? See:

I’m hearing so many are going on-and-on about Putin’s great speech, so many are holding him up as a great leader, I’ve even heard him being called a “world king.” Until he comes clean on who’s running what, who’s orchestrating what, he’s no friend of humankind, but rather is an arm of the enemy. He’s been around long enough to know what’s what. And let’s not forget his advancing of the “vaccine,” the Russian variety. Yeah, he sure is lookin’ out for us. Most billionaires do.
.
So much suffering and unnecessary death in the world, so many attacks on individual freedom. I sure do hope Putin is warm and cozy and relaxing at home:

Yeah, those sittin’ pretty at the top want Russia, but they want everywhere else, as well. Every piece of land everywhere, and everything on it, this is what they eye. But we ain’t here for the takin’ and we know what’s ours and a lot of us will fight you for it.

This morning I read an article by journalist Gary Barnett which he wrote a few days ago. It was entitled “The Relationship Between the American People and Its Evil Government Is the Epitome of Mass Stockholm Syndrome.” The following quote from the article jumped out at me:
“A full negation of government is necessary… … …avoidance of all government demands is necessary if any freedom of the people is to be expected. This means that individuals en masse must act, and peacefully unless attacked, and never bow to any state insistence to follow orders.”
I’d like to ask Gary to define “attacked.” I mean have we not been under attack for several years now? From the theft of our money and resources, that which is RIGHTFULLY ours, to the poisoning and slaying of our people, to the denial of many of our inalienable rights? We have lived with infringements so conniving and egregious, so invasive and suppressive that to call these anything less than an “attack” is to diminish the devastating harm they have inflicted. And caught in the balance, our beloved children, innocence, steered into an agenda that props up perversion and communism.
We know from the past that those with communistic objectives must first tear down the existing values, traditions, and history. They must so pollute the past and any wholesomeness it held, destroying bonds between families and allies, and defaming practices that have been held up for centuries as the bulwark of society. After they tear down, they dish up chaos and confusion, the phase we are now in. Wars, explosions, weather catastrophes, famines, etc. All of this to bring us to their next phase of IMPOSING THEIR SOLUTION. Yeah, that’s where you’ll own nothing, and you definitely WON’T be happy, not if you’re awake anyway. It’s Police State 3.0. Privacy dead. Individualism squashed.
But wait!! There’s more!!! Many aren’t havin’ it. Yeah, they/we know our rights. They/we will fight for them to the finish. They/we won’t be OWNED. We know attack is upon us and stand ready, with each deciding his or her own moment and method of engagement. Leaderless, but not without conviction, not ‘officially’ organized but not without commitment. We are the many.
So Gary, please define “attacked.”
