We’re There: Americans Critical Of Government Can Lose Gun Rights Due To Executive Order

Daily Sheeple – by Kit Daniels

Americans critical of government could have their Second Amendment rights restricted if psychologists diagnose them with “Oppositional Defiant Disorder” or a similar diagnosis as a result of Obama’s new gun control executive action.

The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders: Fifth Edition (DSM-5), which the American Psychiatric Association uses for psychiatric diagnosis, defines “oppositional defiant disorder” as a “recurrent pattern of negativistic, defiant, disobedient, and hostile behavior toward authority figures” which typically begins at a young age but can survive into adulthood.

“[Adults with Oppositional Defiant Disorder] feel misunderstood and disliked, hemmed in and pushed around,” according to Russell Barkley, Ph.D.. “Some feel like mavericks or rebels.”

In other words, an Obama-supporting psychologist could potentially diagnose conservatives and libertarians with “Oppositional Defiant Disorder” due to their criticism of authority, particularly the federal government, and then report them to the FBI as too “mentally unfit” to purchase a gun.

But even scarier, the newest version of the DSM-5 is so broad that almost every form of human behavior could be considered some type of mental illness.

In fact, over the past 50 years, the number of mental illnesses defined by sequential editions of the DSM have grown from 130 to over 350.

The rise in children diagnosed with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD/ADD), for example, is mainly due to the newest DSM editions reclassifying certain, normal behaviors as “symptoms.”

“If 7-year-old Mozart tried composing his concertos today, he might be diagnosed with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder and medicated into barren normality,” George F. Will with the Washington Post lamented.

And looking back at the Soviet Union, the communist regime routinely diagnosed those critical of the government as “mentally ill.”

“People who didn’t accept the beliefs of the Communist Party developed a ‘new type’ of schizophrenia,” the popular blog site The Mind Unleased pointed out. “They suffered from the ‘delusion’ of believing communism was wrong.”

“They were isolated, forcefully medicated, and put through repressive ‘therapy’ to bring them back to sanity.”

And Obama’s latest gun control executive order is heading in the same direction.

  1. There it is plain and simple! The Communist’s master plan to confiscate the guns of American Nationals. Good luck with that boys! I can’t wait to see when they go door to door trying to enforce this insanity. Oh, and for the record, I would have nothing against an American Government, for, of, and by the people, but since all we have is an enemy force in occupation, there is no crime being committed in defying it!

  2. Hurricane Katrina , the video w/ that New Orlean`s police chief saying that no one will be allowed to be armed was an eye opener for me ! With an semi awakened public there is no way ,IMO that these kike jew bastards will have their way w/ us ! Start the Ball Tector !!!

Good thing gun ‘rights’ are NOT the same as guns.

    THOSE we won’t be ‘losing’.

  4. local headline: police apparently kill man in shooting at redding apartment
what makes this interesting/odd is what he was screaming before they shot him.
may want to check it out before story is revised.

  5. Sounds like half or more of kids…
    What a laugh.
Translates to -> dissent from authority.

Authority, not so bad – tyranny is the problem.

Even the best-behaved children can be difficult and challenging at times. But if your child or teen has a frequent and persistent pattern of anger, irritability, arguing, defiance or vindictiveness toward you and other authority figures, he or she may have oppositional defiant disorder (ODD).
