On February 8th 2013, in accordance with state law and the 2nd Amendment, there will be peaceful Open Carry demonstrations taking on the Capitol steps of all 50 states. In Michigan a team of volunteers is organizing the event, and this writer will be speaking in support of the Constitution, exercising my 1st Amendment right to free speech in defense of the 2nd Amendment.

In this episode of The Truth Is Viral, I take you through the streets of Alpena Michigan as I go door-to-door to businesses in the downtown area; openly carrying a sidearm in accordance with Michigan law.

Rather than just surprise local law enforcement with my sudden appearance as some reporters have done, I decided to speak with the Michigan State Patrol, the Alpena County Sheriff’s Office, and the City of Alpena Police Department, letting them know of my intentions beforehand.

As a result of my conversations with local LEOs, I was not only told that it was my right to walk around town openly carrying a firearm, but I was encouraged to do so. I was even offered tips on where I could place my flyers, and informed that I needed a permit to solicit from the city. The Alpena City Police Department especially went out of their way to make my little one man protest a success; in accordance with Federal, State, and Local laws.

Please share this video everywhere you can. I can’t do this by myself.

Semper Fi,
Bobby

  1. I used to do things like Mr. Powell did back in the 70`s and early 80`s. My hat is off to Mr. Powell. Yes, see how easy it is to do what he is doing. I still do things like he is doing now, but now I just put flyers on bulletin boards in grocery stores, laundromats, and yes even – hehehe – court houses , and I still do hand things out to people on occasions. I think that is why people like me here in the town that I live in. they know how to take me.

  2. The capital in my state is too far for me to travel to.

Now, if it were done on the steps of every city hall building across the country, THAT would be highly doable.

    1. That’s a good idea, Hatr.

A lot of people won’t be able to travel very far, and they’ll consume valuable resources (bullet money) by doing so. City halls would have been better than state capitols.

  3. Same here #1NWOHatr. My state’s capital is way on the other side of the state. I’m probably closer to both of my neighboring states capitals. I like your idea better.

  4. Understandable gentlemen, However state capitals have the ability to draw TV cameras. City Hall (I personally agree this may be better) just doesn’t draw the camera crews. It’s kind of like this, what if somebody organized a protest and nobody showed up. Or does a tree make any noise in the forest if there is no one to hear it?

    1. The question is, does a tree falling in the woods make a sound if the mainstream propagandists are not reporting on it?
They would like the world to believe that it does not but this assertion falls contrary to the ringing in the ears from the blasts coming from the alternative media.
