CLAREMORE — The hunt for “Sasquatch” in a section of woods in Rogers County sent one man to the hospital and three people to jail after what they told deputies was an “accidental shooting” Saturday night.
Rogers County Sheriff Scott Walton said the sheriff’s office received word of the shooting about 10 p.m., but preliminary investigation revealed conflicting stories. Walton said investigators are still sifting through information, but the group first told them they had been shot at out in the woods.
