Well it looks like Donald Trump and Mike Huckabee have decided not to run for president. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Newt Gingrich thinks the American people need to get to know him better. I guess there must be something about Newt that wasn’t brought to light during his ethics violations investigation back in 1997. It shows to go you that ethics or the lack thereof has nothing to do with politics.
There is a definite ebb in the mainstream propaganda as the people are laughing at the culls they are throwing out at us for presidential candidates. However, there is one thing they can all agree on in the false left-right paradigm and that is that they absolutely do not want Ron Paul to be president. Both the false left and the false right have tried to attack Ron Paul through orchestrated interviews in which Paul has soundly whipped them in every instance.
Now they are trying to just make him disappear. But it is not working, as the alternative media on the internet has become the de facto news source for the people, as we have come to the realization that mainstream news is no more a part of reality than a soap opera. I believe the participants in the propaganda machine are at present preparing a new blitz designed to prop up Obama and tear down Ron Paul. And I believe it is going to be another failure as the people have had enough.
The very fact that both of the phony parties are against Ron Paul is the proof in the pudding that he wants to stop the plundering of the people by the super elite. The bottom line is if Paul is elected they all stand to lose as their fortunes and livelihoods depend on a continuation of the rape of our country by the traitors they are and represent.
As a 99er I believe that our best chance for any relief lies with the election of Ron Paul. If he can get Jesse Ventura on the ticket with him, the people of the United States will be well on their way to landing their first blow to the international corporate mafia.
The traitors in the status quo, in not only burying HR 589 but working to further cut unemployment benefits for those who haven’t even reached 99 weeks yet, have left us no other hope than the election of Ron Paul and the revenge we can met out to them, through him. So 99ers, we have no bill to rally behind and we are too poor to accomplish protests, so I guess we need to saturate the net with constitutional arguments for the election of Ron Paul.
I believe that the American people of the American race are already united enough to put Ron Paul into office easily. But personally I want to ram him so far down the throats of the elitist thieves that he chokes off their arses. Every person I encounter I engage in conversation and I have yet to leave one without acquiring their affirmation for Ron Paul’s presidency.

Washington (CNN) – When House Speaker John Boehner steps up to the podium at the Catholic University of America’s commencement on Saturday, he’ll be tap dancing around the line between faith and politics.
On Wednesday, a group of 70 professors, priests, nuns and others from the Washington university and other Catholic colleges around the country fired off a letter calling Boehner on the carpet for what they say is his lack of support of legislation for the poor.
“Your record in support of legislation to address the desperate needs of the poor is among the worst in Congress. This fundamental concern should have great urgency for Catholic policy makers. Yet, even now, you work in opposition to it,” the letter reads.
Boehner, Catholic by faith and Republican by party, was able to garner enough votes in the House for the passage of HR 1, the House budget proposal that has drawn the ire of many religious leaders.
The group of professors said the proposed cuts in the budget to Medicare, the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) nutrition program and food stamps “guts long-established protections for the most vulnerable members of society.”
I just emailed this piece of garbage again today regarding 99ers, unemployed, underemployed and homeless. This piece of crap doesn’t care less even if the pope contacted him or, his own mother.
I just read comments form sites telling the unemployed to take a lesser paying job! this was my reply:
Everyone working has the answer! “You have to take a lesser paying job”. There are no jobs period! Allow me to repeat for that for the reading impaired “THERE ARE NO JOBS”. Even the government realizes there are at least 5 people for every job opeaning (this is understated there are actually more, ask anyone looking for a job). This includes fulltime, part-time even the McJobs. Ignorant (ignorant does not mean stupid it means uninformed) people are quick to point out, get a McDonalds job. 99ers around the country have been living over a year without any income, unemployment or otherwise! Don’t you understand that! At this point even a McJob is better than no income at all, if McJobs were available. Also remember school is about to recess for the summer. Think about all those kids competing for jobs with adults that have families to support. So please limit the GET a McJOB comments. Thanks!
Glen, I hear you ! Before I was laid off almost 3 yrs ago, I was making $14.00 an hour. In the last 2 1/2 years, I’ve been willing to take a $8.00 an hour position. I still can’t get a damn job ! I’ve applied at McDonalds, Burger King, and Hardee’s, and they won’t hire me. 3 years ago, I was a telecommunications technician, and never in my wildest dreams (or nightmares ), did I ever think I would be applying at those places. Telecommunications companies are still laying off people, or just keeping the ones they have, so I’m shit outta luck there. I’ve heard the same thing from people still working ( and I’m tickled pink at their smugness.) to look for a lower paying job, and it’s got to the point where I say ” What the fuck do you think I’ve been doing, asshole ! ” Nobody’s safe, but they think it can’t happen to them. When it does, all I can say is, read ’em and weep, bitch.
I’ve had the same problem. I am only a 26 years old and got laid off 3 years ago. I took a job as a HVAC tech thinking I would always have a job after high school. After moving up in my company and making over 25 dollars an hour, I was laid off. I’ve appiled at many companys everyday but no one is spending money so they will not hire me. I went to local stores, fast food joints to find work and cant get nothing. We need this bill pasted, I have to do side work for people just to keep food in my house. I wonder why I even vote now. These people dont care about us!

Listen friend. We here at From the Trenches are beyond your basic complaining. We have come to the point that we are actually discussing what we are going to do about it.
For one thing, we are going to push Ron Paul like a Chicago-back-alley-Barry-Soetoro pushing crack. And once the presidency is secured, we are going to enforce our laws and reinstate our Constitution for our Republic. We must accomplish this if we are to ever see prosperity in our lives again.
Do not look to the actors playing the parts of our elected officials for any help. They are our enemies and whether we realize it or not, they know they are our enemies and they will try to hurt and or kill us at any opportunity.
There is a war on. The torture and killing is going on as we speak. The only question is to what degree will the fighting and killing to rise to before we the people run over our enemies like a tidal wave.
I do not despair as I know my country and my people are going to correct the situation.

I have a suggestion since we can’t get the main stream media news programs to broadcast our critical unemployment situation referred to as 99ers, why don’t we flood the internet with our plight? Our biggest problem is the lack of media attention. Since we don’t have the transportation money to march on anywhere, Washington D C, our State Capitols our City Halls or even our local Unemployment Offices. On a daily basis I suggest we flood the internet with a simple message. If someone can word this better than I, any suggestions are welcome.

I’m a 99er and have been since April 2010. I was a manager in the auto industry for 22 yrs. I went from making 120k a year with a bonus to making 0. I worked my ass off my whole life to get to that point and it’s all gone. I’m now 48 years old and can’t even buy a job at Home Depot or McDonald’s. I’m one of the fortunate few that saw this coming 15 years ago when they opened up NAFTA and I watched the big 3 ship all of our jobs over seas. I convinced my wife that we needed to make additional payments to pay the house off early which is the only reason we still have it. (property taxes are a different story) We now hunt, fish, and grow our own food. Hunting and fishing seasons no longer apply in my book. If we need food I go get. If we want a glass of wine or a beer sometimes you just have to wait because we make that to. I spend most of my days hauling scrap metal (if I can find it) to pay the “Idiots in Office” my property taxes. Even though the bank says I own it. What a joke! You never actually own it. The revolution that Brian s and Clark speak of is for real. So you all better start getting ready to stand up and lock and load. The harsh reality is there are no unemployment extensions coming……… period! The unemployment rate is tracked by the number of people CURRENTLY drawing it. Do you actually think any Politician will vote for something that will show that the true unemployment rate is 3 times what they’re showing us. Not gonna happen people! So my suggestion to everyone is to start growing, shooting and catching food. And reload a whole shit load of ammo……………. because it’s coming. People have had enough…………. including me.

We need to start taking it to the streets like they did in Egypt,Syria,Libya…I am trying to get a few other people to join me in renting a bus and protesting on the steps of capitol hill and NOT leaving until the bill is passed, this is a hardsell due to the cost but I truly believe the only way HR589 or the Stanebow bill will ever get serious consideration is to take the fight to the ones who are holding it back, I have more than 10,000 application rejections( 700 are mine ) that I will bring with me and post everywhere and anywhere, yeah i am a bit angry today…
