On February 28, 2013, 10,000 New Yorkers descended on Albany in protest of Governor Cuomo’s “SAFE Act”, a sweeping package of gun control legislation that criminalizes previously law abiding citizens, bans legal firearms, mandates ammo magazines that do not exist and forces mental health and medical professionals to violate patient confidentiality.
