Wow, thanks, Skywalker. Very interesting how they attempt to explain it away. It’s one thing to say
“…the entries on Hitler show JFK’s fascination with where Hitler fit in the greater context of history.”
It’s quite another to consider his other words in the quote:
“Hitler will emerge from the hate that surrounds him.”
A pretty simple statement that doesn’t need to be smeared with interpretation. Don’t you just hate it when someone tells you what you just read? Or worse yet, what you just heard? I first noticed that when Ari Fleischer (White House Press Secretary for “Dubya”), who as soon as the president finished speaking would come on and tell us what he said, like we didn’t have a brain.
Anyhow, back to JFK, I guess it’s understandable why he was taken out. No, he wasn’t perfect, but in a few ways, went against the tide.
