Under just three of the emergency bailout programs offered by the Fed to Wall Street, units of the megabank JPMorgan Chase tapped over $6 trillion in cumulative (term-adjusted) loans from September 17, 2019 through the first quarter of 2020. That figure will definitely go higher as the Fed is releasing the names of the banks and the amounts they borrowed on a quarterly basis for its repo loan program. For the first time since the Russian invasion began, the Pentagon on Tuesday issued cryptic confirmation that Ukraine has received fighter planes. In a press briefing spokesman John Kirby was careful to say it wasn’t the Untied States who sent them, however.

CNN published an article acknowledging that the White House “doesn’t really know” what happens to the vast quantities of weapons being sent to Ukraine, with one source saying it all “drops into a big black hole.”
The head of the Russian Upper Chamber’s Commission for the Protection of State Sovereignty, Andrey Klimov, announced on Friday that military personnel from NATO countries were captured during the battles in Ukraine.
The West “continues its war [against Russia] with the hands of Ukrainians, as well as mercenaries,” Klimov said, before adding that military personnel from NATO countries were also involved in the ongoing conflict. In the old days, we used to enjoy movies in which Robin Hood would “take from the rich and give to the poor”. But in the real world things are not supposed to work that way. In a civilized society, property rights are supposed to be respected. Unfortunately, the truth is that the U.S. is becoming less civilized with each passing day. At this point, a “Robin Hood mentality” is starting to emerge all over America. Highly organized gangs of thieves are specifically searching for wealthy targets, and those targets are often being followed all the way home before being attacked. I suppose that thieves must think that it makes a great deal of sense to target the wealthy, because robbing the rich is certainly a lot more lucrative than robbing the poor.
