A dark and sinister madness has descended upon the American government.

It is madness because it is divorced from reality.

It is madness because it is divorced from a desire to serve the human race (which is the ultimate expression of sanity).

And it is madness because its promotion of violence is certain to cause more violence rather than ending it.

It is dark and sinister because its underlying intention hides in the shadows from which it springs out at crucial moments to forward its dastardly purpose.    Continue reading “Dark and sinister madness has descended upon US government”

The most common health complaints and concerns from people worrying about oil and gas drilling and fracking are neurological (headaches, dizziness), respiratory (cough, nose bleeds) and gastro-intestinal (stomach aches, diarrhea).Eco Watch – by Anastasia Pantsios

A new study provided more ammunition for what public health experts and environmental activists have been saying since fracking became widespread in the last half decade: chemicals used in the natural gas drilling process can be hazardous to health.

The study “Proximity to Natural Gas Wells and Reported  Health Status: Results of a Household Survey in Washington County, Pennsylvania,” published yesterday in Environmental Health Perspectives, found that people who live near fracking sites have more health problems than those who don’t.   Continue reading “Fracking Literally Makes People Sick, New Study Finds”

Mr. Conservative – by Robert Rich

As America has recently watched in horror as ISIS terrorists behead both American journalists James Foley and Steven Sotloff, more about the neglectful, and ultimately harmful, dealings Obama previously had in the matter are still coming forward. It’s recently come out that the Federal government even went so far as to threaten the Foley Family and demand they not help their son.

According to recent allegations released by Foley’s mother, Diane, agents of the government stated that they would be charged with aiding a terrorist organization should they pay the ransom demanded of them in exchange for their son. “We were told that several times and we took it as a threat and it was appalling.”   Continue reading “The Government Threatened Foley’s Family Before Execution”

A British aristocrat has taken a swipe at activists and politicians who fan the fears of climate change as he claimed that recent research shows there’s been no global warming for almost 18 years.

Lord Christopher Monckton announced on ClimateDepot.com that his scientific satellite data show the temperatures have remained fairly stable between October 1966 and August 2014, despite a rise in greenhouse gas emissions.   Continue reading “British Researcher: No Global Warming in 18 Years”

Russian hackers attacked the U.S. financial system in mid-August, infiltrating and stealing data from JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) and at least one other bank, an incident the FBI is investigating as a possible retaliation for government-sponsored sanctions, according to two people familiar with the probe.

The attack resulted in the loss of gigabytes of sensitive data, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the probe is still preliminary. Authorities are investigating whether recent infiltrations of major European banks using a similar vulnerability are also linked to the attack, one of the people said.   Continue reading “FBI Examining Whether Russia Is Tied to JPMorgan Hacking”

In the 2001 action movie Ocean’s Eleven, criminals use an electromagnetic weapon to black out a portion of Las Vegas. Very futuristic, you may say, but the threat is real and growing.

The problem is growing because the technology available to attackers has improved even as the technology being attacked has become more vulnerable. Our infrastructure increasingly depends on closely integrated, high-speed electronic systems operating at low internal voltages. That means they can be laid low by short, sharp pulses high in voltage but low in energy—output that can now be generated by a machine the size of a suitcase, batteries included.   Continue reading “Electromagnetic Warfare Is Here”

Future Structure – by Owen Poindexter

In nearly every home, office and facility in America, one can turn on a light, and it shines with unwavering brilliance at any hour of the day, every day of the year. This modern miracle is made possible by a system of power plants, transformers, and millions of miles of wire, collectively referred to as “the grid.” Nearly every light bulb in the continental U.S. receives power from one of three large grids. This deeply entrenched colossus of American infrastructure has an emerging challenger, one which may take decades before it truly competes with the grid for power distribution, but will almost certainly force a high-level rethinking of the American power system: the microgrid.   Continue reading “How Microgrids Will Change America’s Energy Infrastructure”

Joan Rivers tragically passed away on the 4th September, after the 81-year-old slipped into a coma and never regained consciousness after being sedated for an endoscopy procedure.

Her daughter, Melissa, announced the death, in a New York hospital, in a short statement in which she said: “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers.   Continue reading “Joan Rivers ‘given the same drug that killed Michael Jackson’, claim sources”

Press TV has conducted an interview with Webster Griffin Tarpley, an author and historian, from Washington, to discuss the crisis in the Middle East.

What follows is an approximate transcription of the interview.

Press TV: In your perspective, if the United States and its Western and regional allies had not actually supported and created armed groups in Syria to fight against the Syrian government would we be seeing the same situation as we’re witnessing today with ISIL?   Continue reading “NATO behind creation of ISIL: Webster Tarpley”

U.S. Drought Monitor forCaliforniaI live in the D4 region here in California according to this Drought Monitor. Where I live, our faucets are still running and we have not been asked to ration our water in our homes. However, lawn watering and car washing is discouraged but not prohibited.

Our water comes from the Salinas River – dry above ground – but pumped from underground as it still flows. The Salinas River is the largest river of the Central Coast of California and flows north-northwest, drains into the Salinas Valley and empties into the Monterey Bay.   Continue reading “U.S. Drought Monitor”

It’s an explosive charge, one that practically accuses the president of treason.

Today, a former CIA agent bluntly told the newspaper, World Net Daily, that America has switched sides in the war on terror under President Obama. Clare Lopez was willing to say what a few members of Congress have said in private, but declined to say on-the-record.   Continue reading “EX-CIA employee admits President Obama is a radical Islamic enemy of America”

U.S. flagForbes – by Robert W. Wood

Over the last two years, the U.S. has had a spike in expatriations. It isn’t exactly Ellis Island in reverse, but it’s more than a dribble. With global tax reporting and FATCA, the list of the individuals who renounced is up. For 2013, there was a 221% increase, with record numbers of Americans renouncing. The Treasury Department is required to publish a quarterly list, but these numbers are under-stated, some say considerably.

The presence or absence of tax motivation is no longer relevant, but that could change. After Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin departed for Singapore, Senators Chuck Schumer and Bob Casey introduced a bill to double the exit tax to 30% for anyone leaving the U.S. for tax reasons. That hasn’t happened, but taxes are still a big issue for many.   Continue reading “U.S. Hikes Fee To Renounce Citizenship By 422%”

Vladimir PutinBusiness Insider – by Reuters and Brett Logiurato

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday Russia’s armed forces, backed by its nuclear arsenal, were ready to meet any aggression, declaring at a pro-Kremlin youth camp that foreign states should understand: “It’s best not to mess with us.”

Putin told the assembly, on the banks of a lake near Moscow, the Russian takeover of Crimea in March was essential to save a largely Russian-speaking population from Ukrainian government violence. He said continued fighting in eastern Ukraine, where pro-Russian separatists launched an uprising in April, was the result of a refusal by Kiev to negotiate.   Continue reading “PUTIN: Don’t Mess With Us”
