After raising money and solidifying its land holdings in the Rochford area, a Canadian company is resuming its search for gold in the Black Hills.
On Monday, Vancouver-based Mineral Mountain Resources notified the South Dakota Department of Environment and Natural Resources that the company planned to resume its exploratory drilling project by the end of this week.

WASHINGTON (AP) — A woman tossed a lit Molotov cocktail into the lobby of a U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services office in Oakland Park, Florida. No one was reported injured, according to a report of the incident sent to Trump administration officials and viewed by The Associated Press.
The woman walked into the office Friday afternoon and hurled a bottle filled with gasoline and a lit fuse. The fuse disconnected from the bottle and did not ignite, according to the report. Law enforcement officials believe the woman intended to cause harm but the incident wasn’t related to other ones where Homeland Security agencies were targeted. 26 state legislators have signed a petition opposing red flag laws in South Dakota.
That petition has been sent to President Trump, Senators John Thune and Mike Rounds, as well as Representative Dusty Johnson.

A friend of mine recently commented that if the current trend to reduce the study of history in schools to easily digestible politically correct soundbites that are being successfully pushed by social justice warriors continues, we will soon be limited to discussing how horrible slavery was, the Stonewall Inn riots and the so-called holocaust. Indeed, it seems that those who complain the loudest are the only ones listened to and no one complains more often or at greater volume than American Jewish groups intent on preserving the benefits that are derived from always being able to claim their perpetual victimhood. CANTON, Mich. (WXYZ/CNN) – After an accusation that he intentionally hit a classmate in the face during a dodgeball-like game, a 10-year-old boy from Michigan faces a charge of aggravated assault.
Mother Cameishi Lindley says she was shocked when she got a call last Wednesday from Wayne County Juvenile Court about her 10-year-old son Bryce Lindley. A man has died after being accidentally shot by his own passenger as he attempted to fire out of a car window, police say.
