Veterans News Now – by James Petras

Introduction: The exposure of the Obama regime’s use of the National Security Agency to secretly spy on the communications of hundreds of millions of US and overseas citizens has provoked world-wide denunciations.

In the United States, despite widespread mass media coverage and the opposition of civil liberties organizations, there has not been any mass protest. Congressional leaders from both the Republican and Democratic Parties, as well as top judges, approved of the unprecedented domestic spy program.   Continue reading “The Deeper Meaning of Mass Spying in America”

Sen. Barbara Boxer is planning an amendment to the Senate’s immigration bill which would redirect funds committed to border security to reimburse state and local governments providing health care to newly legalized immigrants. Boxer plans to take $250 million, and likely much more, out of border security and use it to underwrite uninsured immigrants health care costs.    Continue reading “Boxer: Redirect Border Funds for Immigrant Health Care”

Even as reports break about the size and scope of the National Security Agency’s vast data storage center in Utahnew details are emerging about a second massive NSA center in San Antonio, Texas. According to the Houston Chronicle, “Satellite and aerial imagery show that massive air conditioning units and backup generators have been added to the facility, which is now ringed by barbed-wire fencing. City permits and property tax records show that the complex has been dramatically expanded.” According to sources, the plant will supposedly translate intercepted communications from the NSA; the communications are then forwarded to Maryland for processing.   Continue reading “Massive San Antonio NSA Data Center Raises Eyebrows”

Slaton police came to this woman’s house, who wishes to remain anonymous, to arrest her son. But by asking one simple question, she found herself behind bars instead.

“I told him, ‘I will release my son to you upon viewing those orders.’ Those were exactly my words,” The complainant said. “He said, ‘This is how you want to play?’ He took two steps back, turned around to the officer and said, ‘Take her.’ They turned me around, handcuffed me, and took me in.”  Continue reading “Police show up at a home to arrest an 11 year old. Alt Market – by Brandon Smith

There comes a point in the analysis of any problem when its escalation turns so blatantly obvious that the disaster is self-explanatory. The economic crisis in the United States and around the globe is one of those problems. While there are still plenty of people out there who remain ignorant to the immediate danger, I think we are very close (at least in America) to a point of maximum velocity. The more accelerated the awakening, however, the faster globalist interests will pull the plug on what remains of our financial system.   Continue reading “Learn A Post-Collapse Trade Before It’s Too Late”

Former Department of Justice prosecutor Larry Klayman has filed a $3 billion class-action lawsuit in US District Court for the District of Columbia against President Obama, Eric Holder, Director of the NSA Keith Alexander, the CEO of Verizon, the NSA, Verizon Communications, the Department of Justice, and the judge of the US Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court Robert Vinson who rubber-stamped the illegal NSA spying program for violating Plaintiffs’ constitutional rights, Plaintiffs’ reasonable expectation of privacy, free speech and association, right to be free of unreasonable searches and seizures, and due process rights. PrivacyCollective Evolution – by Eliot Estep

The recent NSA leaks from whistleblower Ed Snowden have publicly confirmed that digital privacy does not exist.  The federal government and intelligence agencies have direct server access to the world’s most popular sites and services including Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Apple, and more.  This means that all of your data when using these services including Skype, YouTube, etc has been compromised and can be used against you whenever strategically necessary.   Continue reading “7 Powerful Ways to Maintain Your Privacy and Integrity Online”

According to U.S. Representative Loretta Sanchez, members of Congress learned “significantly more than what is out in the media today” during a closed briefing about the NSA on Tuesday, and that what has been revealed so far about NSA snooping is “just the tip of the iceberg”.  During her interview with C-SPAN on Wednesday, she also stated that NSA spying is “just broader than most people even realize” but due to security restrictions she could not reveal more than that.   Continue reading “Member Of Congress: Edward Snowden’s Revelations Are “Just The Tip Of The Iceberg””

New NSA data center in Bluffdale, UtahThe Guardian – by Ed Pilkington and Nicholas Watt

Lawyers and intelligence experts with direct knowledge of two intercepted terrorist plots that the Obama administration says confirm the value of the NSA’s vast data-mining activities have questioned whether the surveillance sweeps played a significant role, if any, in foiling the attacks.

The defence of the controversial data collection operations, highlighted in a series of Guardian disclosures over the past week, has been led by Dianne Feinstein, chairwoman of the Senate intelligence committee, and her equivalent in the House, Mike Rogers. The two politicians have attempted to justify the NSA‘s use of vast data sweeps such as Prism and Boundless Informant by pointing to the arrests and convictions of would-be New York subway bomber Najibullah Zazi in 2009 and David Headley, who is serving a 35-year prison sentence for his role in the 2008 Mumbai attacks.   Continue reading “NSA surveillance played little role in foiling terror plots, experts say”

Establishment PoliticiansThe Economic Collapse – by Michael

Establishment politicians from both major political parties are rushing to defend the NSA and condemn whistleblower Edward Snowden.  They are attempting to portray Edward Snowden as a “traitor” and the spooks over at the NSA that are snooping on all of us as “heroes”.  In fact, many of the exact same politicians that once railed against government spying during the Bush years are now staunchly defending it now that Obama is in the White House.    Continue reading “22 Nauseating Quotes From Hypocritical Establishment Politicians About The NSA Spying Scandal”

Rand Paul has been at the very front lines in the defense of liberty and our constitutional rights for the last couple of years. He’s taken on leadership of both parties, with an emphasis on stopping the president’s constant onslaught of unconstitutional policies.

Now, Rand Paul is saying that he’s going to likely sue the federal government over the Obama-sanctioned theft of our emails, Facebook messages, search histories, credit card information, and more. His goal is to unite internet companies, individuals, and organizations in one massive class-action lawsuit against the feds with millions of Americans standing up.   Continue reading “Rand Paul: Time for Millions of Americans to Sue the Government”

Legendary Columbia Professor Never Heard of ObamaThe Blaze – by Wayne Allyn Root

My life has crossed paths with President Obama on multiple occasions. According to Obama, we were Columbia University classmates, both Pre Law and Political Science majors in the Class of ’83. I also ran against Obama in 2008 on the Libertarian Party Presidential ticket. What are the odds?

But something about “the Obama at Columbia story” has always bothered me. Earlier in the week right here at The Blaze I wrote about having just returned from New York, where I attended my 30th Columbia University reunion. I celebrated with my esteemed classmates. Everyone except Barack Obama. As usual- he wasn’t there. Not a trace. Not a video greeting. Not a letter. I could not find any classmates who knew him.   Continue reading “Ghost of Columbia – Part II: Legendary Columbia Professor Never Heard of Obama”
