Israel is readying for a direct cruise missile or drone strike by Tehran in response to recent attacks on Iranian regional proxies which have been attributed to the Jewish state, Army Radio reported Tuesday evening.

A Border Patrol agent working near the Texas Border fired multiple shots at a group of migrants who attacked during a traffic stop. Two gunshots fired by the agent struck one of the attacking migrants.
A Border Patrol agents initiated a traffic stop on Highway 349 near Dryden, Texas, on Tuesday night. The vehicle contained approximately ten illegal aliens being smuggled into the U.S., according to information obtained from the Terrell County Sheriff’s Office. US president Donald Trump has authorized $4.5 million in aid to the so-called Syrian Civil Defense (SCD), aka “White Helmets,” calling their work “important and highly valued.” The group’s critics point to its terrorist ties.

The mother of a 14-year-old boy who attempted to commit mass murder at his school in 2018 has been charged with several felonies for her failure to treat his mental illness and prevent him from getting access to guns, according to WXIN-TV.
Mary York of Richmond, Indiana, faces five counts of neglect of a dependent, one count of dangerous control of a child, and one misdemeanor count of criminal recklessness. Israel should not be constrained by international borders or laws if it feels under threat, and can always rely on US support, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said following his meeting with the Israeli PM and the chief of Mossad.

Uber Technologies Inc. is laying off 400 American employees at its California offices while seeking to import hundreds of foreign workers through the H-1B visa program.
As detailed by the Mercury News, Uber laid off 88 U.S. employees in August and is laying off about 320 U.S. employees this month at its San Francisco and Palo Alto offices. In total, Uber executives said about 350 U.S. employees had been laid off. The majority of the layoffs are software engineers. OKLAHOMA CITY, OK — An Oklahoma man who was attempting to attend the Oklahoma County Budget meeting Thursday left in handcuffs instead.
Ray Adam Modisette went to the courthouse with a group of people. They told FOX 25 he was hoping to talk to officials at the meeting about the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s response and actions surrounding the Sheriff’s Office relationship with Immigration and Customs Enforcement. In an entirely unsurprising development, it only took hours for Turkey to break the US-brokered deal for a 5-day ceasefire in northern Syria. The late Thursday newly inked ceasefire was announced by Vice President Mike Pence following a lengthy meeting with President Erdogan; it crucially involved allowing Kurdish fighters to evacuate battleground border towns and in exchange Turkey would agree to halt its offensive. President Trump’s top immigration spokesman on Wednesday said that there are potentially 22 million illegal immigrants inside the United States, nearly twice the estimate regularly cited.
Ken Cuccinelli, the acting director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, which handles the legal immigration process, said the number comes from a study done by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Israel has called on the United States to maintain a military base in south-eastern Syria for strategic and geopolitical reasons, Israeli TV channel Kan reported yesterday.
Al-Tanf base, set up and controlled by the US military in 2016 during the ongoing Syrian conflict, lies in a strategically important area near Syria’s borders with Jordan and Iraq. It serves as a base for a group known as the Revolutionary Commando Army which opposes both the Syrian regime and Daesh and has received training from the US in Jordan. House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) says that the public shouldn’t be allowed to observe hearings in the ongoing impeachment inquiry, as doing so may allow Republicans to then “fabricate testimony” (and totally not because their case is falling apart).
