Manchester, NH — Last week, police, in their efforts to keep the world safe from a dangerous plant, arrested Jeffrey Pendleton for possessing a small amount of cannabis.
He was then locked in a cage last Wednesday after a Nashua District Court judge had set his bail at $100 cash. Unable to pay his extortion fee for possessing a plant that is legal in some form in 23 states, Pendleton, 26, was found dead in his cell five days later at 2:45 on Sunday. Boston, MA — A former head of a major Irish bank has been extradited from the U.S. and brought before Dublin District Court to face several charges stemming from the bank’s role in the 2008 financial crisis.
David Drumm, former chief executive of Irish Anglo Bank from 2005 until 2008, had been arrested in Boston in October 2015, and originally attempted to fight extradition — but he recently withdrew the objection and was returned to Ireland early on Monday. Donald Trump said Wednesday morning that he will skip next week’s Republican presidential debate because he already has plans to deliver a “very major speech.”
“I’m making a very major speech in front of a very important group of people,” he said on “Fox & Friends,” later confirming that the remarks will be delivered before the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC). AB 2459, authored by Kevin McCarty (D-Sacramento), could wipe out every single gun dealer in the state of California.

Over the past four months, several Western nations have toyed with the idea of giving monthly stipends directly to their peoples whether they were working or not. And primarily, these ‘helicopter money’ programs were being formulated in energy based countries where the lower prices have nearly devastated their economies.
Going back to December, when Finland began proposing an 800 euro monthly payment to every citizen, and forward to earlier this month where the province of Ontario, Canada is in serious discussion to give out their own flat-rate stipend to their citizens, the trend of ultimate quantitative easing is now not simply a fringe desperate measure for governments and central banks, but it is becoming the next step in the Keynesian model for supporting an economy.

A Mexican national living illegally in the United States has pleaded guilty to murdering and raping a woman during a July crime spree in order to avoid a possible death sentence, Ohio prosecutors said on Tuesday.
Juan Razo, 36, pleaded guilty on Monday to 16 criminal counts connected to a July 27 rampage that began when he attempted to rape his 14-year-old niece, who fought him off, and went on to rape and murder 60-year-old Margaret Kostelnik, who lived nearby, after breaking into her home, police said. California sheriffs announced Monday that they are opposing Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s gun-control measure aimed for the fall ballot, arguing it would not prevent criminals from obtaining guns and ammunition via the black market or theft, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Instead, the proposal would place additional restrictions on law-abiding people who want to buy ammunition for recreational use, retain guns and magazines that are currently legal or pass down historical or family heirlooms, the California State Sheriffs’ Association wrote in a letter to Newsom’s campaign. Three police officers are expected to survive gunshot wounds suffered in the chase of a suspect shot dead on Monday on Chicago’s West side, the police department said.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has revealed that 124 illegal immigrant criminals released from jail by the Obama administration since 2010 have been subsequently charged with murder.

Cape Coral, FL – Instead of making his presence known or identifying himself as an officer, a cowardly cop snuck up behind a woman arguing with her boyfriend and violently threw her to the ground, knocking her unconscious. Although the blatant display of police brutality was caught on video, the officer has not been charged with excessive force.
Early on Sunday, Brittnie Fails was arguing with her boyfriend in a parking lot across the street from Dixie Roadhouse when an unidentified police officer knocked her unconscious. Admittedly drunk, Fails was lightly pushing her boyfriend while demanding her cigarettes and car keys when a Cape Coral cop suddenly rushed up behind her and slammed her to the pavement. A Tennessee police officer shot and killed the driver of a pickup truck the officer was trying to arrest for suspected driving under the influence, authorities said on Monday.
Joshua Grubb, 30, of Lebanon, Tennessee, was killed on Sunday after he tried to flee the scene in Lenoir City, Tennessee, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said. Lenoir City is about 30 miles southwest of Knoxville. Continue reading “Police officer kills east Tennessee man fleeing arrest”
Seven cars on a Chicago-bound Amtrak passenger train derailed in southwestern Kansas early on Monday, injuring 32 people, officials said.
The coaches from Amtrak’s’ Southwest Chief Train 4 traveling from Los Angeles to Chicago derailed about 20 miles (32 km) west of Dodge City shortly after midnight, Amtrak said in a statement. There were 131 passengers and 14 crew aboard. Continue reading “Amtrak train derails in Kansas, 32 hurt”
