Monsanto can install Clarence Thomas on the U.S.00 Federal Judge circuit after working for their corporation, an obvious conflict of interest, but it looks like a Mexican judge won’t be bought off by biotech. Nanoflowcell has developed the world’s first saltwater-powered electric car – the Quant e-Sportlimousine – it just received approval for testing in Europe! The futuristic gull-winged vehicle runs on a special type of gasoline that is made from salt water, and it’s now street-legal on public roads in Germany. According to Nanoflowcell, the Quant e-Sportlimousine can accelerate from 0-62 mph in a blazing 2.8 seconds and it has a driving range of up to 373 miles. The Israeli biopharmaceutical company Protalix Biotherapeutics saw an 11 percent spike in its share price amid growing Ebola concerns in the United States. Protalix, which recently went public on the New York Stock Exchange, has developed a plant-based cell expression system that could potentially be used to produce the experimental ZMapp drug. Protalix’s share price similarly rose 20 percent after the inventor of Protalix’s technology, Prof. Yoseph Shaaltiel suggested that the company’s technology could be used to create the ZMapp treatment. North and South Korea exchanged gunfire on Sunday when the North’s soldiers approached the military border and did not retreat after the South fired warning shots, the South Korean Defence Ministry said.
The North’s soldiers fired back in an exchange of gunfire that lasted about 10 minutes but the situation did not escalate, a ministry official said.

Under the guise of protecting the public from ‘extremism’ the government proposal will allow police to vet the social media activity of “harmful” individuals and curb their right to speak at public events.
The maximum sentence could be up to 10 years in prison for breaking a banning order.

Ammunition has been pulled from the shelves of two Walmarts in Ferguson amid violent clashes over the police shooting of Michael Brown.
Employees were ordered to lock all bullets in a store cupboard on Monday after demonstrators stormed one of the stores and formed a barricade outside another.
Bosses in Ferguson and nearby Maplewood revealed they took the precaution in fear of looting and violence as racial divides in the Missouri city show no sign of resolve. The Fairfax press revealed last week that the inscribed Arabic sword seized during unprecedented police raids on September 18—and portrayed by the media as the weapon that would be used in an Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS)-inspired plot to kidnap a random person and behead them in the street—was actually a plastic ornament. Moreover, it is a plastic Shiite ornament. Its inscription pays homage to Imam Ali, whose veneration by Shiites is considered by the Sunni Wahhabist extremists who make up ISIS as heresy.
The revelation adds to the numerous, disturbing questions about the raids on 15 homes in five Sydney suburbs, which was the largest anti-terrorism operation ever carried out in Australia and involved some 800 state police, federal police and Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) agents. This hour-long documentary, the Ringworm Children, raises so many disturbing questions about Israel and its relationship with the US that one hardly knows where to begin.

“I don’t have a philosophical objection necessarily to a travel ban, if that is the thing that is going to keep the American people safe,” President Obama said on Thursday.
Obama said the experts have advised him that it’s more effective to let West Africans into the U.S. than it would be to keep them out.

Congressman Peter King (R-NY) is outraged after Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials dismissed Ebola after a “cursory” exam of an African man, who died on a plane to JFK Airport Thursday in a fit of vomiting.
The unnamed 63-year-old had boarded an Arik Air plane out of Lagos, Nigeria the night before, a federal law enforcement source told the New York Post.
