In a surprising and provocative ultimatum, Syria has notified Israel through United Nations diplomatic channels that it is prepared to go to war if Israel does not leave the Golan Heights.

Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mikdad reportedly sent the message through the head of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization (UNTSO), Christine Lund, this past week, according to a World Israel News report and later picked up other major Israeli sources, including The Jerusalem Post. “Syria will attack Israel if it does not leave the Golan Heights,” Mikdad told the UN representative.   Continue reading “Syria Notifies Israel It Will Attack If IDF Doesn’t Leave Golan Heights”

The U.S. Marshals Service confiscates millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrency every year through seizure and forfeiture during criminal investigations. Holding on to virtual currency does the agency little good, so it is looking for a vendor to help store the assets during investigations and handle disposal, either by returning the digital currency or liquidating it.

The services issued a request for information on FedBizOpps this week asking for industry feedback on methods for storing and converting digital currencies.   Continue reading “U.S. Marshals Want Help Disposing of Virtual Currencies”

Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) is begging Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) to allow a hearing on the criminalization of private gun sales.

Murphy’s pleading comes a week after House Democrats passed legislation to criminalize private gun sales. The House bill, H.R. 8, would not have stopped a single mass shooting during the past ten years, but it would make it a criminal act for a neighbor to sell a gun to a lifelong neighbor without first getting government permission.   Continue reading “Chris Murphy Begs Lindsey Graham for Hearing to Criminalize Private Gun Sales”

According to a report, House Democrats will not condemn anti-Semitism specifically following the controversy over Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), but will instead condemn “all hate” in general.

Democrats have been staunch supporters of unfettered, borderless immigration over the last several years, often claiming that anyone against allowing undocumented individuals into the United States is a xenophobe and morally bankrupt.

But,  as SHTFplan.com’s Mac Slavo exposes below from none other than California Senator Dianne Feinstein, reducing the flow of undocumented migrants is a necessity for a variety of reasons, including budgetary considerations and lower crime.   Continue reading “Cali Democrat Dianne Feinstein Slams Illegal Immigration: “People Who Should Be Here Are Those Who Come Legally””

Erik Prince, founder of the notorious private military firm Blackwater, struggled to explain his apparent anti-Muslim sentiment when confronted by Al Jazeera host Mehdi Hasan.

During his Head to Head talk show, Hasan asked Prince why he called people in Iraq “chanting barbarians American troops had been sent to liberate” in his memoir. Prince explained that people who set off car bombs in packed squares to hurt American troops deserve the name, especially given that civilians are also hurt.   Continue reading “Blackwater founder caught off guard when asked about his ‘chanting barbarians’ in Iraq comment”

Speaking to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Gen. Curtis Scaparrotti, the NATO Supreme Allied Commander-Europe, argued that the US needs to send even more troops and warships to Europe to “stay ahead of Russia.”

Even though Russia’s military spending is actually scheduled to decrease in the next few years, Gen. Scaparrotti argued that the “growing” Russian threat justified even more US spending on Europe. This has, of course, been a common argument for Pentagon officials, and is why the US such a massive number of troops in Eastern Europe in the first place.   Continue reading “Top US General Seeks More Troops in Europe to Confront Russia”

Trump apparently wants to control 5G in a ‘state-run’ socialist twist to American capitalism—and now there are indications that it could become part of the 2020 election campaign.

Over the weekend, President Donald Trump’s 2020 campaign team renewed its controversial pitch on nationalizing the country’s 5G network. In other words, the government would have control of 5G airwaves and lease access to private wireless providers.     Continue reading “Trump Looks To Nationalize 5G”

A rapidly growing number of counties in at least four states are declaring themselves Second Amendment sanctuaries, refusing to enforce gun-control laws that they consider to be infringements on the U.S. constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

Organizers of the pro-gun sanctuaries admit they took the idea from liberals who have created immigration sanctuaries across the United States where local officials defy the Trump administration’s efforts to enforce tougher immigration laws.   Continue reading “Defiant U.S. sheriffs push gun sanctuaries, imitating liberals on immigration”
