Cody Wilson’s Ghost Gun-inspiring company, Defense Distributed, is seeking to have its day in court through a suit with the State Department. The suit has to do with efforts by the government to regulate 3-D printed guns.

The government has shut down Defense Distributed for its efforts to share 3D printing plans with people who can then build 3D Printed guns themselves. To be sure, Cody Wilson knows full well there are plenty of ways to share these files outside of the purview of the government, but Wilson appears to be using this case for two reasons:  Continue reading “Supreme Court to Consider if 3D Printed Gun Plans Should Be Allowed to Be Shared”

President Donald Trump’s deputies are ending the often-extended ‘TPS’ temporary refugee status for up to 200,000 El Salvadoran migrants, which was first granted when earthquakes hit their home country in 2001.

The TPS decision — reported by numerous media outlets — underlines Trump’s determination to enforce the nation’s immigration laws, and to push his “Buy American, Hire American”  inauguration-day promise, despite growing pressure from the GOP’s business-first wing, Democrats and their allies in the establishment media.   Continue reading “Trump Ends Temporary Protected Status For 200,000 El Salvadorans”

White Plains, NY – A police officer who shot and killed an innocent 68-year-old mentally ill veteran who accidentally hit the medical emergency button in his home, will face no consequences after acting U.S. Attorney Joon Kim determined that there was insufficient evidence to press charges.

The victim, Kenneth Chamberlain, accidentally triggered a medical alert through “Life Aid,” which prompted police to visit his home. When the officers arrived unexpectedly, Chamberlain told the responding officers that he was OK and did not need any help. He refused to answer his door, and instead called Life Aid and told them that he did not need the police at his home.   Continue reading “Elderly Vet Accidentally Trips His Medical Alert System, Cops Show Up and Kill Him—No Charges”

Daniel Gruss didn’t sleep much the night he hacked his own computer and exposed a flaw in most of the chips made in the past two decades by hardware giant Intel, something we discussed in “Why The Implications Of The Intel “Bug” Are Staggering.” And as Reuters describes in fascinating detail, the 31-year-old information security researcher and post-doctoral fellow at Austria’s Graz Technical University had just breached the inner sanctum of his computer’s CPU and stolen secrets from it.

Until that moment, Gruss and colleagues Moritz Lipp and Michael Schwarz had thought such an attack on the processor’s ‘kernel’ memory, which is meant to be inaccessible to users, was only theoretically possible.   Continue reading “The “Meltdown” Story: How A Researcher Discovered The “Worst” Flaw In Intel History”

For Fed watchers, and traders, September 2012 was a memorable month: that’s when the Fed launched QE3 also called “QEternity”, a continuation of the “Operation Twist” program that was unveiled earlier in the year, and the Fed’s third – and so far final – asset purchase program which was meant to stimulate the economy but whose real purpose was to push markets higher (as we have now learned).   Continue reading “Fed 2012 Transcripts: “I Sense Self-Congratulation That QE3 Had Such A Great Impact On The Market””

Pennsylvania — It is entirely legal in the state of Pennsylvania to use and possess marijuana so long as the user has a valid issued patient Medical Marijuana Card. Also, there is no law in Pennsylvania that states medical marijuana patients have to turn in their guns. However, the Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) care not about state laws and have issued a statement demanding anyone with a Medical Marijuana Card turn in their guns—or you are in violation of the law—therefore you will be arrested.   Continue reading “State Police Tell Medical Marijuana Patients to Turn in Their Guns Or Be Arrested”

In the current wave of UFO disclosures, the press (in particular, the New York Times) has decided to use Luis Elizondo, a career intelligence case officer, as its main source.

This choice reveals a time-honored strategy of elite news operations: cherry-pick who is reliable and who isn’t.

Of course, the press presents its case as flowing FROM the source. But that’s not true, because reporters and editors could have used other “reliable sources” to tell a different, or even contradictory, story.   Continue reading “UFO disclosure: the insider game of “reliable sources””

Wichita, KS — In just a matter of a few days, cops in Wichita have proven their incompetent and dangerous nature and shown the country that they are in dire need of de-escalation training. Last week, an innocent man was murdered by Wichita police for the ‘crime’ of opening his front door in front of frightened trigger happy cops. Now, TFTP has learned that just days after that, a little girl was shot by police inside her own home.

Over the weekend, a Witchita cop was placed on administrative leave after discharging his firearm inside a family’s home—in a cowardly attempt to kill a dog—and hitting a little girl instead.  Continue reading “Frightened Cop Tries to Kill Dog, Misses, Shoots Little Girl in the Head Instead”
