An organization of former Border Patrol agents Wednesday charged that the federal government, under the administration of President Obama, is deliberately arranging for a flood of immigrant children to arrive in America for political purposes.
Someone is luring thousands of children to come on their own to America where women and children will be welcomed with open arms.
The alarming estimated 80,000-strong exodus of children traveling without parents or other relatives, puts them at risk from “coyote” smugglers who are bringing Central Americans to the U.S. illegally by telling their relatives that children can take advantage of the program and find work in the United States. Back in the Sixties, Marxists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven came up with a great strategy for overloading and collapsing democratic welfare states, paving the way for socialist tyranny. Basically, the idea was to hit the system with a tidal wave of demands it couldn’t refuse, and couldn’t possibly fulfill. The Left would then insist that the moral argument for the system remained intact, so the only way to meet those impossible demands was to scrap every vestige of Constitutional restraint and republican self-government, instituting a totalitarian system that in theory would forcibly restructure society to promote “fairness” and give all those government dependents what they “deserve.” (In practice, of course, what you actually get is an iron-fisted dictatorship that cooks up reports to make itself look good, or simply tells the unhappy citizens to shut up and obey when things deteriorate to the point that no volume of phony reports can paper over the problems – say, when the glorious worker’s paradise of Venezuela runs out of tap water.) I’m pretty sure the Department of Defense knows the differences between ammunition, cartridges, and magazines. Evidently the paper of record doesn’t, though. Continue reading “Magazine cartridges”
Indiana treasurer Richard Mourdock warned that the possibility of U.S. bankruptcy will push the country the way of Nazi Germany during a speech on Saturday.
South Carolina has become the second state to officially dump the Obama administration-pushed national education standards known as Common Core, which have sparked an unprecedented uprising among teachers and parents that transcends traditional political divides and partisanship. Republican Governor Nikki Haley, a vocal critic of the controversial education plot, signed the legislation last week and is already receiving widespread praise for the move. Still, some opponents of Common Core are warning that the battle in South Carolina is not finished yet. Continue reading “South Carolina Rejects Common Core”
On June 4, Oklahoma joined Utah, Texas, and Louisiana in affirming that gold and silver coins are (as they always have been under the Constitution) legal tender in the payment of debts in the state. On the surface this seems almost nonsensical: affirming a right that already exists in Article I, Section 10 of the U.S. Constitution. But it is much more than that.
Senate Bill 862, which Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin signed into law this week, says,
In their own words, we can convict the traitors within for crimes against the Constitution.
“The whole gospel of Karl Marx can be summed up in a single sentence: Hate the man who is better off than you are. Never under any circumstances admit that his success may be due to his own efforts, to the productive contribution he has made to the whole community. Always attribute his success to the exploitation, the cheating, the more or less open robbery of others. Never under any circumstances admit that your own failure may be owing to your own weakness, or that the failure of anyone else may be due to his own defects, to his laziness, incompetence, improvidence or simple stupidity.”– Henry Hazlitt on envy and Marxism
With all our “high hopes” for this investigation, due to the fact that we thought Trey Gowdy was the person who could bring forth all the illusive Benghazi answers. Well, that hope has been dashed, as we should have suspected of occurring.
Last week, the Washington Times mentioned the fact that the Obama administration seriously considered using military force against Cliven Bundy and his supporters during their standoff back in April. This should come as no surprise after we reported that there was word that the Defense Department had approved a drone strike.
