The Dawn of Libya, an Islamist militia group, has said that it has secured the US embassy compound in the Libyan capital Tripoli, more than a month after US staff evacuated the building.

Although windows at the compound have been smashed, most of the equipment that had been left by the Americans remained untouched, according to an AP journalist who was invited by the militants to have a look around.   Continue reading “Libyan militia occupies US embassy in Tripoli to ‘secure’ it”

When the US Army looks to the future, it sees cities. Dense, sprawling, congested cities where criminal and extremist groups flourish almost undetected by authorities, but who can influence the lives of the population while undermining the authority of the state.

And the service is convinced that these “megacities” of 20 million or more people will be the battleground of the future.   Continue reading “U.S. Army Sees ‘Megacities’ As the Future Battlefield”

If you’ve ever walked into a post office while carrying your firearm, then you’ve broken the law. Up until a few months ago, even if you drove into the parking lot with your firearm, you were also breaking the law.

Update: It seems that the case referenced in the link above only applies to a certain Post Office. Referencing numerous news articles (below), it sounds as though it covers the entire Country, but this does not seem to be the case. Who knows, really. It’s meant to be as confusing as possible.   Continue reading “If You Ever Go To The Post Office, You May Be Breaking The Law”

A Colorado veteran says he was denied a ride on the Grand Valley Transit system because of his service dog.

Richard Palmer’s dog, Zipper, is a psychiatric service animal who helps him with post traumatic stress and a brain injury.

“He calms my nerves, so I don’t get anxiety in crowds of people,” Palmer told KJCT. “He keeps me focused and on track.”

Palmer said he rode the bus with Zipper for months before the bus driver decided Zipper isn’t a service dog, but a “comfort” dog.   Continue reading “Veteran Kicked Off Bus Because Of Service Dog”

The DOJ claims that the north Minneapolis town broke a federal law when it rejected the center in 2012.

“An injustice has been done,” U.S. Attorney Andrew Luger said on August 27. “I will not stand by while any religious group is subject to unconstitutional treatment that violates federal civil rights laws.”

The DOJ claims that the city violated the law when it refused the Abu Huraira Islamic Center the right to create an Islamic cultural center in the basement of the St. Anthony Business Center. The DOJ cites a violation of the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act that was enacted in the year 2000.   Continue reading “Obama’s DOJ Sues Minnesota City For Rejecting Islamic Center”

A woman in Ohio was on a walk with her dog, one that she’s taken hundreds of times before. This time however, she was met by two men who came out of the bushes with baseball bats and said “You’re coming with us”. The men were not deterred by her dog.

They were deterred however, by the firearm that the woman drew from her purse and quickly pointed toward them.

I have this and I’m not afraid to use it.

As you probably have already guessed, this sent the two men fleeing at a quick pace.

The woman, Dinah Burns, has her Ohio concealed carry permit and says that she just recently started carrying it with her while out on her walks. Continue reading “CCW IN ACTION: Ohio Woman Wasn’t Abducted Thanks To Her Concealed Carry Firearm”

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy Andrew Wood will not be charged for fatally running over former Napster COO Milton Olin Jr. in his patrol car while the officer was typing a message into his computer.

We first saw the news on Valleywag, but there is good coverage in the Daily News and LAist.

BulkFwdHWednesday, I approached my truck from the passenger side to place my computer bag (aka my man purse) in the front passenger seat.

As I reached to open the door I noticed there was a hole right under my door handle.

My first thought was, “someone has shot my truck !”

I began to think about it and inspect it a little closer and the “light” slowly began to come on.   Continue reading “Hole Under Door Lock”

It’s a shocking revelation. Authorities in the UK ignored a child-trafficking ring — and the beating, terrorizing, and sexual abuse of children. And it was for a very troubling reason:

The perpetrators were Muslim.

The Associated Press details the abuse:

About 1,400 children were sexually exploited in a northern England town, a report concluded Tuesday….   Continue reading “Muslim Pedophilia in the UK Ignored by Politically-correct Authorities”

Sally Burnett, 26, a resident of San Diego, was visiting her in-laws and, while there, went to a nearby supermarket to pick up some groceries.

Later, her husband noticed her sitting in her car in the driveway with the windows rolled up and her eyes closed, with both hands behind the back of her head.

He became concerned and walked over to the car. He noticed that Sally’s eyes were now open and she looked very strange. He asked her if she was okay, and Sally replied that she had been shot in the back of the head and had been holding her brains in for over an hour.   Continue reading “Shot in the Head”
