Two people who attempted to steal a 30-year-old mother’s purse in a Texas parking lot ended up dragging the woman across said parking lot.

Fortunately, an onlooker who had a weapon concealed on his person saved the mother from both robbery and from potential injury.

A Knoxville photographer has captured a police officer on camera using what looks like excessive and unnecessary force on a college student.

The sequence of photographs show the young man complying with Knox County deputies as they lead him to a police van at the University of Tennessee, before an officer uses two hands to choke the student until he is unconscious.

Report claims Eric Holder approved drone strike on Bundy ranch.Examiner – by Joe Newby

On Friday, John Jacob Schmidt of Radio Free Redoubtsaid that according to Stewart Rhodes, founder of Oath Keepers, Attorney General Eric Holder has approved drone strikes against the Bundy ranch to take place some time in the next 48 hours. According to Schmidt, the information came from a source Oath Keepers has within the Department of Defense.

That source, according to the report, allegedly said Attorney General Eric Holder authorized what is known as a “hot drone strike” against the ranch. Illinois Democrats are backing off a plan to give $100 million of state money toward landing President Obama’s presidential library and museum — following accusations of voting “shenanigans” and nasty Chicago-style politics, not to mention the state’s dire financial situation.

A Democrat-led House committee approved the money last week at an out-of-town hearing in Chicago with no Republicans in attendance. The FBI has released about 175 pages of heavily blacked-out documents from the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre investigation.

Of the 175 pages released in response to a Courant Freedom of Information request, 64 were completely redacted and most of the other 111 pages were heavily redacted. A Russian intelligence-gathering ship has been operating off the U.S. East Coast and near the Gulf of Mexico for the past month, the Pentagon said Thursday.

“We are aware that the Russian ships Viktor Leonov and Nikolay Chiker are currently operating in waters that are beyond U.S. territorial seas but near Cuba,” said Lt. Col.
