An 82-year-old Texas man alleged this week that officers in military gear stormed his home, broke his hip and then left him without calling for medical assistance.

U.S. intelligence documents released to a government watchdog confirms the suspicions that the United States and some of its so-called coalition partners had actually facilitated the rise of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) as an effective adversary against the government of the Syrian dictator President Bashar al-Assad. In addition, ISIS members were initially trained by members and contractors of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) at facilities in Jordan in 2012. The original goal was to weaken the Syrian government which had engaged in war crimes against their own people, according to a number of reports on Sunday. Former United States Navy Veteran, Certified National Recruiter, and Commander of the Elm Grove Memorial Veterans of Foreign Wars Vernon Anderson told Breitbart News exclusively that the Department of Veteran’s Affairs’ Gun Lock push is “another Obama back door gun control measure.”
According to an earlier NPR report noting veteran suicide statistics, “The VA is trying to help with a program that offers gun locks to veterans for free. Sen. Bernie Sanders fired back at 80 CEOs who wrote a letter lecturing America about deficit reduction by released a report detailing how 18 of these CEOs have wrecked the economy by evading taxes and outsourcing jobs. 80 CEO’s raised the ire of Sen. Sanders by publishing a letter in the Wall Street Journal urging America to act on the deficit, and reform Medicare and Medicaid.
Sen. Sanders responded to the lecture from America’s CEO’s by releasing a report that detailed how 18 of them have helped blow up the deficit and wreck the economy by outsourcing jobs and evading US taxes.

GM has joined with John Deere in asking the government to confirm that you literally cannot own your car because of the software in its engine.
Like Deere, GM wants to stop the Copyright Office from granting an exemption to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act that would allow you to jailbreak the code in your car’s engine so that you can take it to a non-GM mechanic for service, or fix it yourself. BERLIN (AP) — Swiss bank UBS says it is pleading guilty to wire fraud and is paying $545 million to settle U.S. cases of market manipulation.
The bank said Wednesday that under the deal with U.S. authorities it will be granted conditional immunity from prosecution in a Department of Justice probe on the manipulation of foreign exchange rates. RadioShack is dead, but its saga is ongoing. Last week, the company’s name was auctioned off for $26.2 million to Standard General, a hedge fund that earlier this year bought hundreds of RadioShack store leases. With the latest purchase, though, Standard General also got RadioShack’s collection of consumer data—that means the names, addresses, email addresses, and purchase histories of potentially tens or even hundreds of millions of RadioShack customers.
