A Monday joint press conference was held by Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan president Otto Perez Molina to announce their agreement to jointly cooperate in and facilitate the invasion of their northern neighbor, the United States.
Labeled “The Southern Border Program to Improve Passage,” it is an officially-sanctioned, coordinated effort on the part of Mexico and the nations of Central America to invade the United States. A Mexican federal judge sent Andrew Tahmooressi back to prison after the U.S. Marine sergeant made his first official courtroom appearance since being locked up more than three months ago for accidentally crossing the border with guns in his pickup truck.
The 26-year-old veteran of two tours in Afghanistan was finally able to tell his story to a judge, after his case had been delayed by both Mexico’s unpredictable legal system and his own trouble settling on a lawyer. It was not immediately clear what Tahmooressi said at the evidentiary hearing, which was closed to the public. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for August 4. LOS ANGELES — Drivers in a long-running labor dispute with three trucking companies at the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach began what they said would be an indefinite strike Monday.
The impact on the movement of cargo around the sprawling port complex, the main gateway for hundreds of billions of dollars of trade with Asia, was limited in the strike’s first hours. But the threat of a broader disruption loomed if striking truckers take their pickets from offices of their employers to the dockside terminals where ships are loaded and unloaded. COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho—An officer shot and killed a pit bull on Wednesday morning near 8th Street and Sherman. Investigators described the dog as a “vicious” pit bull and said it lunged at the officer. However, the dog’s owner said the dog was not a pit bull but a black lab (pictured above).
The incident began Wednesday morning when an officer responded to call about a suspicious van. The caller claimed the driver of van was watching young children from a nearby parking lot. The owners of coffee shop reported the white van because they thought it was possibly connected to child luring case. A 44-year-old local man is facing a criminal charge because he allegedly posted on Facebook a video depicting Windsor police headquarters being blown up with a rocket launcher.
“We take this seriously,” said Windsor police spokesman Sgt. Matt D’Asti on Tuesday.

The Joint Department of Homeland Security-American Jewish Community Table Top Exercise, held Wednesday at an unnamed location in Rosslyn, Va., was designed to identify gaps in information sharing, to share best practices and to push security concerns throughout the American Jewish community. Jerusalem (CNN) — Israeli airstrikes pounded targets in Gaza, killing scores of people Wednesday as dozens of militant rockets streaked into Israel.
The continued Hamas barrage prompted Israel’s Prime Minister to step up the offensive against the militant group.

HOUSTON, Texas–As violence and cartel activity is becoming increasingly common near the border, citizen vigilante groups in Mexico–armed with rifles and machetes–are attempting to curb the crime on their own.

The decision to enlarge the Southern California detention center for illegal immigrants in Adelanto is being excoriated by pro-immigrant advocacy groups. Instead, they are demanding that resources be used for children seeking asylum in the United States.
The Los Angeles Times reported that the center is currently being expanded to hold up to 1,950 illegal immigrants, up from its present capacity of 1,300. Additionally, a women’s housing unit will be built. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officials welcome the new construction, arguing that it will accommodate more bed space required by the Los Angeles area. ICE spokeswoman Virgina Kice explained that ICE endeavors to detain the illegal immigrants in proximity to where they are arrested. Department of Homeland Security officials are stonewalling lawmakers who try to make unannounced visits to immigrant detention facilities throughout the country and are closing off public roads along the U.S.-Mexico border in an effort to keep journalists from reporting on the growing illegal immigration crisis, federal law enforcement officials told TheBlaze.
The officials said senior supervisors have made scheduling visits ahead of time mandatory at detention facilities, turned back officials from unannounced visits, and that Border Patrol agents have been forced to clean up facilities and transfer illegal aliens from unauthorized holding cells before they are inspected by lawmakers. MURRIETA — As the border crisis continues, the Department of Defense is requesting that additional military bases make housing facilities and land available to accommodate a continued influx of illegal alien children.
According to information provided exclusively to Breitbart through a source requesting anonymity, Major General John T. Winters has specifically requested installation support for the Department of Homeland Security to provide temporary housing to unaccompanied alien children. The request requires bases to report any facilities across the U.S. that meet the following minimum specifications: a 24,000 square foot building, 15 acres of land “level and clear,” and access to utilities. A Texas man accused of killing six people, including four children, was turned away by a teenager when he first went to the victims’ home, but he returned a short time later, kicked in the door, tied up the family and then shot them in the head execution style, according to court testimony today.
Ron Haskell, 33, was charged with capital murder following his arrest after a long standoff with police in Spring, Texas.
The carnage ended when a wounded 15-year-old girl called 911 and alerted police to the shooting and said that the gunman was on his way to shoot her grandparents, police said.
