Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis practiced shooting at a gun range two days before killing a dozen people, according to the shooting range.
Authorities have also determined that he was armed with a shotgun and at least one handgun he took from a guard he shot. Continue reading “Navy Yard Gunman Practiced Shooting Days Before Rampage”
Larry Summers (Samuelson) had to withdraw his nomination to succeed Ben Bernanke as Federal Reserve Chairman for the same reason that Barack Obama could not blow Syria off the map using doctored evidence as his justification. The people said No to war. Americans had figured out that Al Qaeda was committing atrocities against Christian and Muslim civilians in their name. We can find hundreds of videos of the mercenaries beheading civilians and even firing chemical weapons but the administration and the media cannot produce even one of the Syrian Army doing the same. Joe Biden’s art-dealer niece went on a violent rampage at her luxury Tribeca apartment Tuesday — throwing punches at police officers and flailing “frantically” as cops wrestled her into handcuffs, sources said.
Caroline Biden, 26, went wild at about 9:15 a.m., “screaming at the top of her lungs” after her roommate confronted her about unpaid rent at their $3,500-a-month digs, sources said. Continue reading “Biden’s niece busted after roommate dispute”
The gunman who killed 12 people and injured eight Monday in a mass shooting at the Washington, D.C., Navy Yard said in a recent incident that he could hear people talking to him through the walls, floor and ceiling of his motel rooms, and believed persecutors were keeping him awake by talking to him and sending vibrations into his body.
Aaron Alexis, 34, of Fort Worth, Texas, displayed troubling signs of mental illness less than two months ago, according to a Rhode Island police report obtained by NBC New York’s Jon Dienst. Continue reading “In Aftermath of Navy Yard Shooting, Questions Remain About Gunman”
TOKYO: The operator of the leaking Fukushima nuclear plant said Tuesday that it dumped more than 1,000 tons of polluted water into the sea after a typhoon raked the facility.
Typhoon Man-yi smashed into Japan on Monday, bringing with it heavy rain that caused flooding in some parts of the country, including the ancient city of Kyoto.
The rain also lashed near the broken plant run by Tokyo Electric Power (TEPCO), swamping enclosure walls around clusters of water tanks containing toxic water that was used to cool broken reactors. Continue reading “Over 1,000 tons of Fukushima water dumped after typhoon”
Lee Gui-ja, a South Korean housewife, will not be preparing traditional pollack pancakes for Thanksgiving celebrations this week due to worries the fish may be contaminated by radiation from Japan’s leaking Fukushima nuclear reactor.
Japan has sought to reassure the international community that the facility is under control but South Korea has banned fishery imports from the affected region.
Even though the vast majority of frozen pollack comes to South Korea from Russian waters, sales of fish have plunged before South Koreans mark the main annual holiday this week. Continue reading “Radiation fears push pancakes off the Korean holiday menu”
While we all want to do our best to prepare for a coming crisis, and many of us realize the city is perhaps the worst place to live, very few people are really prepared to pack up the old Winnebago and head for the hills. Most Americans, whether they’re aware or not, are going to stay in the cities.
This is not a hasty decision for most people. Most of us depend on the city for our livelihood, and we can be better prepared by continuing to live in the city, earn a good income, and make preparations for exiting the city at the appropriate time or by staying in the city and living off existing supplies. The story is a long way from coming into focus. The little we do know about Monday’s tragic mass shooting at a Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. is stirring a national debate.
First, here’s the back-story. It was September 16th, around 8:20 A.M. when 34 year-old Aaron Alexis opened fire inside a Navy facility. According to the FBI, he was a contract employee who had legitimate access to the Navy Yard and used a valid pass.
Alexis reportedly killed 12 people ranging in age from 46 to 73. Alexis was killed by police in a gun battle. He reportedly entered the facility with a shotgun purchased legally at a local gun shop. Continue reading “Navy Shooter Taking “Mass Murder Suicide Pills”?”

The battle over the control of the right to print and distribute dollars, Euros and many other currencies is down to a few factions, according to multiple sources involved in the fight. In Italy, Pope Francis and his faction have won a major power struggle and as a result, the P2 Freemason lodge is now calling for the Pope to be named as M1, the person who decides how money is created and distributed, a senior P2 Freemason source says. However, there is also a strong faction in the US military and agencies who want to completely expunge the entire cabalistic structure. A leaked draft of a report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is understood to concede that the computer predictions for global warming and the effects of carbon emissions have been proved to be inaccurate.
The report, to be published later this month, is a six year assessment which is seen as the gospel of climate science and is cited to justify fuel taxes and subsidies for renewable energy. Continue reading “Top climate scientists admit global warming forecasts were wrong”
CNN is reporting that there may not have been an AR-15 recovered at the scene, as originally reported, but a shotgun and two handguns. Here is an excerpt from the CNN report:
“However, federal law enforcement sources told CNN Tuesday that authorities have recovered three weapons from the scene of the mass shooting, including one — a shotgun — that investigators believe Alexis brought in to the compound. The other two weapons, which sources say were handguns, may have been taken from guards at the Navy complex. Continue reading “Gun prohibitionists rush to exploit Navy Yard shooting”

I stubbornly refused to believe it at first, although I’ve seen it firsthand on a couple of occasions during my career as a professional investigator spanning nearly three decades. “Someone’s trying to make me look and sound like a nut, or actually drive me crazy,” was the common thread of the complaints I heard on those rare occasions. Well, they doing a great job of it, I would think to myself, as I patiently listened to their plight but ultimately declined to become involved with their cases. “We work only for corporations, not individuals.” Continue reading “Hearing voices in your head? We knew this was coming. Yesterday, before launching into a highly politicized speech in which he berated Republicans, President Barack Obama took a moment to address the rampage carried out by madman Aaron Alexis at the Navy Yard in Washington D.C.
“We are confronting yet another mass shooting,” Obama said. Continue reading “Obama to Issue More Executive Actions on Gun Control After Navy Yard Shooting”
As economic recovery continues to prove dismal if not illusory, American families are signing up for food stamps in record numbers, showing signs that poverty is increasing and the job market is far from recovering.
According to official U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) numbers, households on food stamps increased by 45,900 in one month, hitting a staggering new high in June of 23.117 million households, with an additional 125,079 individuals signing up for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, a near-record 47.76 million people that is just below the December 2012 peak of 47.79 million. Russia’s UN representative says the newly unveiled report on the chemical attack of August 21 in Syria offers no “bulletproof data or conclusions” on who ordered it. The US and UK say the study confirms the regime was behind the attack.
“The report is diligent but very technical. It avoids categorical judgments and inferences, and it needs to be studied,” Vitaly Churkin told the Russian media at the UN headquarters in New York. Continue reading “Russia: UN chem attack report doesn’t show whodunit”
President Obama has waved federal regulations on U.S. arms sales to begin supplying anti-chemical weapons equipment to rebel forces in Syria.
“This action will allow the U.S. Government to provide . . . where appropriate, certain non-lethal assistance inside or related to Syria,” related to equipment needed to survive a chemical weapons attack, according to a National Security Council Spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden.
