On Monday, the White House announced a new crack down on American’s Second Amendment rights — entirely bypassing Congress — and ruling by executive decree instead. The new rule attacks individuals who build their own firearms at home.
In response to Biden’s new dictate, Congressman Thomas Massie of Kentucky lambasted the president’s decision to bypass Congress and attack one of the key components of the Second Amendment. The White House released a fact sheet early Monday indicating that President Joe Biden intends to announce that his Department of Justice (DOJ) is prepared to label gun parts kits as “firearms” in an effort to ban so-called “ghost guns.”
Democrats use the phrase “ghost guns” to describe firearms that Americans can build themselves. The firearms are often built from an 80 percent receiver in the case of a rifle, or 80 percent frame, in the case of a pistol. Building such guns has long been an American hobby. The new rules from Biden’s DOJ refer to the 80 percent parts kits as “buy, build, shoot” kits and label the kits themselves as firearms. In the mosquito breeding rooms of British biotech company Oxitec, scientists line up fresh eggs, each the size of a grain of salt. Using microscopic needles, the white-coated researchers inject each egg with a dab of a proprietary synthetic DNA.
For four days, Oxitec technicians care for the eggs, watching for those that hatch into wriggling brown larvae. Those “injection survivors,” as the company calls them, face a battery of tests to ensure theirgenetic modification is successful. Dr. Anthony Fauci on Sunday appeared to throw in the towel on more government restrictions over COVID-19 — insisting it’s now up to Americans to make their own medical risk assessments.
“This is not going to be eradicated, and it’s not going to be eliminated,” Fauci told ABC’s “This Week.” “And what’s going to happen is that we’re going to see that each individual is going to have to make their calculation of the amount of risk that they want to take.” Continue reading “Fauci says it’s now up to Americans to assess their own COVID-19 risk”

The atrocities of world history are taking form again, in some of the exact same regions of the world. From 1932-1933, Joseph Stalin and the Soviet Union committed mass genocide in Ukraine by starving the population and imprisoning and killing dissenters. The Ukrainian famine of 1932-1933 was known as the Holodomor, which means to “inflict death” through “starvation.” Approximately 13.9 million people were starved to death during that time. Currently, and rightfully so, many on the right are advocating for the protection of children by standing against the state talking to young kids about sexuality behind their parents’ backs. Many on the left also support this cause as parents need to be involved in their young child’s decision — especially when it comes to making life altering decisions.
