All Gov – by Noel Brinkerhoff

It’s not easy being a member of Congress, what with all the suitcase packing they’ve been doing.

Lawmakers took five weeks off from Washington during their summer break. They came back this month to work…for eight days. Now, they’re jetting off again to their districts, or to the beach, where they’ll spend nearly the next eight weeks not doing any legislative work.   Continue reading “Congress Takes 5 Weeks Off, Works for 8 Days and Takes another 8 Weeks Off”

Authorities in Colorado broke up a drug trafficking ring and seized 55 pounds of methamphetamine, ending what prosecutors said on Monday was an audacious network that involved a food truck selling tacos “with a side of meth.”

The state’s Attorney General John Suthers said a five-week operation using five wiretaps led to one of the biggest meth busts in Colorado history, and to the dismantling of a group that was importing the drug from Mexico via California.   Continue reading “Colorado food truck busted for selling tacos ‘with a side of meth’”

Medical Care For The Elderly - Public DomainThe American Dream – by Michael Snyder

Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm Emanuel, says that society would be far better off if people quit trying to live past age 75.  His new article entitled “Why I Hope To Die At 75” has the following very creepy subtitle: “An argument that society and families—and you—will be better off if nature takes its course swiftly and promptly”.  In the article, Emanuel forcefully argues that the quality of life for most people is significantly diminished past the age of 75 and that once we get to that age we should refuse any more medical care that will extend our lifespans.  This is quite chilling to read, considering the fact that this is coming from one of the key architects of Obamacare.  Of course he never uses the term “death panels” in his article, but that is obviously what Emanuel would want in a perfect world.  To Emanuel, it is inefficient to waste medical resources on those that do not have a high “quality of life”.  So he says that “75 is a pretty good age to aim to stop”.   Continue reading “Obamacare Architect Says Society Would Be Better Off If People Only Lived To Age”

pillscolors2 263x164 These Common Pharmaceutical Meds Destroy Your BrainNatural Society – by Christina Sarich

You wouldn’t think that taking a little pain pill would cause long term cognitive impairment, but that’s just one of the commonly prescribed (or even OTC) pharmaceutical medications which were studied in a six-year test to see what kind of neurological damage was caused. Unfortunately, the research found that these pharmaceuticals, commonly taken for a variety of common medical conditions including insomnia, allergies, or incontinence, cause long-term damage to the brain. The findings point to a class of drugs called anticholinergics, which block acetylcholine, a nervous system neurotransmitter.   Continue reading “These Common Pharmaceutical Meds Destroy Your Brain”

Medical Bills - Public DomainThe Economic Collapse – by Michael Snyder

The next time you visit a hospital, it is your wallet that may end up hurting the most.  All over the United States, it has become common practice for hospitals to wildly inflate medical bills.  For example, it has been reported that some hospitals are charging up to 30 dollars for a single aspirin pill.  And as you will see below, some victims report being billed tens of thousands of dollars for a non-surgical hospital visit that lasts only a few hours.  When something is seriously wrong with us, most of us never stop to ask our health professionals how much it will cost to actually treat us.  In that moment, we are desperate and we just want someone to help us.  Many doctors and hospitals take full advantage of this by billing their “customers” as much as they feel they can possible get away with.  It is a legal scam that is bilking ordinary Americans out of billions of dollars every single year.   Continue reading “Scam Alert: Hospitals All Over America Are Wildly Inflating Medical Bills”

ACSNatural Society – by Christina Sarich

Did you realize that all conventional methods of killing cancer have only a 3% overall ‘cure’ rate? Chemotherapy and radiation not only have low cure rates, but they also kill healthy cells and often make cancer worse, when this is completely unnecessary because most cells can be reverted into healthy, non-damaging cells with the right treatment.

That’s not something the American Cancer Society (ACS) and Susan G. Komen for the Cure want you to know, though. They are in bed with Big Pharma, and financed by the legacy of John D. Rockefeller who started the ACS in 1913.   Continue reading “John D. Rockefeller’s American Cancer Society Never Meant to ‘CURE’ Cancer”
