In a blatant conflict of interest, defense contractors and foreign governments are hiring pundits and think tanks to advocate for their agendas without media outlets disclosing their fiscal ties. Following a strategy developed by former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, think tanks funded by military contractors and foreign governments use commentators to influence policy or to generate exorbitant profits. Failure to disclose these financial connections reveals a glaring lack of journalistic integrity on the part of major media corporations.   Continue reading “Defense Contractors and Foreign Governments Funding Pundits and Think Tanks”

90 Miles from Tyranny

One of the core tenets of a free press is to serve as a watchdog of government and to hold them accountable for their actions, misdeeds and lawlessness. Apparently Media Matters does not hold to these truths to be self evident as they coordinate with government to attack and disparage the free press.

What are we to make of media organizations when they are the willing tools of tyranny? In the case of Media Matters, they are not a news organization as they attempt to portray themselves. Media Matters is a far left wing anti-free press organization intent on suppressing the free press, they are the propaganda ministry of the far left whose mission it is to suppress and attack all who wish to report and expose the malicious intent of leftist government and the shredding of the U.S. Constitution.   Continue reading “Media Matters Works With Big Government To Attack The Free Press..”

This is what Paul Craig Roberts said to King World News about a recent Federal Reserve policy change and the Big Banks. He said the Too Big To Jail Banks can no longer contribute to the growth in our real economy. The Banks are part of an asset stripping mechanism. The Banks follow the IMF into destitute countries stealing islands from Greece or demanding local utilities be sold to foreign buyers.

Now the Federal Reserve is setting its sights on American cities and counties and their pension funds. The Federal Reserve has ruled that banks can no longer use municipal bands as tier 1 assets. There are $3.7 trillion dollars in these US municipal bonds out there. If the banks have to sell their bonds and are not allowed to buy new ones from the cities, then pressure will be put on new municipal bond sales. Roberts thinks that this policy is designed to deliberately hurt the financing of American cities.   Continue reading “Paul Craig Roberts: Banks Are A Looting Mechanism. Dollar To Die In 2015?”

The woman’s daughter was also at home, and when she heard someone trying to break in, her maternal instincts kicked in.

McALLEN – A new piece of equipment is causing concern among some Border Patrol agents.

The agents soon will be outfitted with body cameras. The spokesman for the agent’s union says he is concerned the cameras will be used more to reprimand agents on minor agency violations rather than catching illegal aliens committing crimes.

Many law enforcement officers in the Rio Grande Valley already use the cameras. The San Juan and Rio Grande City police departments outfitted their officers with the new technology.

Officers activate the cameras for traffic stops, search warrants and any time they’re in contact with the public.    Continue reading “Border Patrol Union Concerned about Body Cameras”

In 1984, George Orwell paints a picture of a dark, gray world. People are afraid to say anything contrary to the official party line, and surveillance is universal.

Even thinking contrary to the party is a crime, and thoughtcrimes may be treated by radical psychological intervention. Information is closely controlled by the party media, and the historical record is routinely edited, so as to conform to the latest party statements.   Continue reading “Mind Control: Orwell, Huxley, and Today’s Reality”

A Melbourne man was hauled off a Tiger Airways flight by federal police on Saturday after claims he was seen doodling and writing sentences in a notebook satirising the current terrorism threat.
