A prominent lottery official who has run the Powerball game since its inception was quietly removed from his 28-year post leading the Multi-State Lottery Association after a jackpot-fixing scandal inside his organization had spread, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press.

Charles Strutt, executive director of the association since its 1987 founding, was stripped of his duties in October by the group’s board, which includes directors of lotteries in 37 states and U.S. territories. The move came days after prosecutors said their investigation of jackpot-fixing by the association’s former security director, Eddie Tipton, had expanded nationwide.   Continue reading “Powerball official quits as jackpot fixing investigation spreads to more states”

For those who are not familiar with the taxpayer-funded network Voice of America, it is essentially a government propaganda instrument whose mission, as The New York Times has noted in its politically correct manner, “is charged with presenting America’s viewpoint to the world.”

Established during World War II as a propaganda instrument similar to those begun by the Axis powers, VOA began broadcasting to the communist Soviet Union in 1947 as “an important part of America’s propaganda campaign … during the Cold War.” Radio transmissions, you see, are difficult to intercept, especially when they emanating from inside the borders of another superpower with as much nuclear capability as you have.   Continue reading “EPA uses ‘covert propaganda’ to trick Americans into accepting totalitarian policies, auditor finds”

Queens, NY – A 25-year-old student at Nassau Community College was recently caught on video being viciously assaulted and repeatedly pepper sprayed after two NYPD officers from 105th precinct saw him walking his 5-month-old puppy without a leash.

On Tuesday, December 15, Nicholson Gregoire was walking his 5-month-old pit bull outside his 101st Avenue home when he noticed two NYPD officers conducting a stop & frisk investigation of another person. According to the New York Daily News, that is when one of the officers noticed that the dog was unleashed and requested to see Mr. Gregoire’s ID. Nicholson informed the officers that his ID was inside his home and asked the officers if he could go in to grab, which officers permitted.   Continue reading “NYPD Cops Break Into Student’s Home and Beat Him for Walking His Dog With No Leash”

For decades the concerns surrounding the fluoridation of our water supply have been derided as absurd. If you tried to claim that fluoride might not be an appropriate substance for maintaining dental health, you were called a quack. Or worse, if you tried to suggest that fluoridated water was actually harmful to overall human health, you were called a conspiracy theorist.   Continue reading “Experts Admit That Fluoride May Be Completely Useless”

In case many have not heard, the State of Virginia is set to cease recognition of concealed carry weapons permits from 25 states under the authority of Democrat Attorney General Mark Herring. Virginia’s GOP party, unhappy with Herring’s action, fired back at Herring with Republican State legislators looking to relieve Democratic Governor Terry McAuliffe of his protective detail. Virginia Sen. Bill Carrico plans to propose a budget amendment that would defund the governor’s protective detail, according to The Herald Courier.   Continue reading “VA Senator Threatens to Defund Governor’s Armed Security Detail Over AG’s Gun Stance”

I’d like to speak today about what political correctness is, at least in its modern version, what it is not, and what we might do to fight against it.

To begin, we need to understand that political correctness is not about being nice. It’s not simply a social issue, or a subset of the culture wars.   Continue reading “PC Is About Control, Not Etiquette”

BATR – by William B. “Nostradamus, Jr.” Kaliher

Producing this year’s soon-to-be amazingly accurate predictions was a virtual miracle. I, Nostradamus Jr., spent the month of August and the following two fortnights drunk as a coot on Carolina shine with Lucille (oh those deliciously dangerous curves) at Big Earl’s House of Porn & Bait Shop.  Round about late September,  I wandered out to the edge of the woods, and being about nineteen sheets to mild hurricane winds, thought it a good idea to wrassal a bigfoot name Norm I’d met years earlier while tormenting an alligator near Hell Hole swamp. Well, I was so whooped up and worn out by the time I pinned Norm in a two-out-of -three match, I wasn’t certain I could keep drinking. I forgot all about my duty to make predictions and walked with Norm as far as the Appalachians to hibernate with some black bears while I recovered.  I finished off three triple-X jugs of hootch and tucked myself in between them fat, snoozing bears.   Continue reading ““Nostradamus, Jr.” Kaliher’s Annual Top 101 Predictions for 2016”

The mysterious doctor deaths are getting even more concerning. Now a Canadian alternative health doctor has been found. Canadian doctor, Linnea Veinotte, was found dead just a few days before Christmas. Even the police report says that the place Veinotte and her family resided ‘was a safe place.’

Doctor Bradstreet’s death led this rash of strange ‘suicides,’ but the number of strange death circumstances – most of alternative doctors – seems to be growing. [1]   Continue reading “Another Alternative Health Doctor Killed, Found in Makeshift Grave”

Robert Murray is no fan of Barack Obama.

Murray, you’re reminded, is the CEO of Murray Energy. Earlier this year, the company laid off 21% of its employees, with the majority of the cuts coming in West Virginia, which was staring down a $195 million budget gap thanks to the slide in coal prices.   Continue reading “Furious Coal Baron Lashes Out: “Obama Is The Greatest Enemy I’ve Ever Had. I posted this meme on my Facebook page, saying in my comments that it was the Zionist Bolshevik Jews that were behind much of the killing of Christians and the revolution in Russia-and I was called anti-semitic, and should take that post down by a person. Rob Horn reports:

Under the maximization strategy known as Restricted Application, you could file for Social Security benefits at or after full retirement age (FRA), but elect to take only your eligible spousal benefits, allowing your individual benefits to grow until they max out at age 70. At that point, with a raise of up to 32 percent under your belt, you would switch to taking your individual benefits.

An Ohio Grand Jury has declined to indict two police officers in the death of Tamir Rice, a 12-year-old boy who was shot dead by a Cleveland police officer last year, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Timothy McGinty said today.

This was our drive early this morning after 48 hours of non-stop rain. We are south of Rolla, Missouri about 10 miles. About 30 miles due east of Ft. Leonard Wood. We use a ramp from under a truck body as a foot bridge, which is tied to a nearby tree. As you can see, it was washed into the creek when it the depth of the water reached it. After the water started to recede, my husband nosed the Kubota tractor into it to see how much of the bottom had washed out.

The last photo was taken just about 12 noon our time after the water had gone down greatly. My husband was repairing the pasture fence that was washed out by the water.   Continue reading “Flooding”

The seizure of political and economic power by corporations is unassailable. Who funds and manages our elections? Who writes our legislation and laws? Who determines our defense policies and vast military expenditures? Who is in charge of the Department of the Interior? The Department of Homeland Security? Our intelligence agencies? The Department of Agriculture? The Food and Drug Administration? The Department of Labor? The Federal Reserve? The mass media? Our systems of entertainment? Our prisons and schools? Who determines our trade and environmental policies? Who imposes austerity on the public while enabling the looting of the U.S. Treasury and the tax boycott by Wall Street? Who criminalizes dissent?   Continue reading “The Illusion of Freedom”

Anti-War – by Mel Gurtov

The death of six US soldiers in Afghanistan on December 21 at the hands of a Taliban suicide bomber brings to 21 the number of US combat deaths there in 2015. Once again we must confront the question of national purpose in waging war without debate or declaration. Like all other battlefield deaths in the Middle East, the Obama administration rationalizes these latest as being part of “training, advising, and assisting,” not combat. But those are merely code words for direct interventions that Congress has not authorized since 2002, in clear violation of restrictions the War Powers Resolution of 1973 places on presidential power.   Continue reading “Endless War, Undeclared and Undebated”
