DENVER — A man without a medical license was arrested after allegedly using an Army surgical kit to remove the testicles of a transgender woman at her apartment, the Denver Police Department said.

Hanford’s owner, The U.S. Department of Energy, is scrambling to deal with the second emergency at the nuclear site in 10 days’ time.
Signs have emerged that a massive underground double shell nuclear waste holding tank may be leaking.

In recent years, the term “plant medicine” has come to be associated with psychedelics like mushrooms and ayahuasca, which are increasingly documented to provide mental and emotional relief to users. But according to a recent analysis from Kew Gardens in the United Kingdom, there are over 28,000 other plants currently being used as medicine throughout the world.

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has curtailed work on a natural-gas pipeline in Ohio after the owner, Energy Transfer Partners, reported 18 leaks and spilled more than 2 million gallons of drilling materials.
The pipeline regulator blocked Energy Transfer Partners, which also built the controversial Dakota Access pipeline, from starting horizontal drilling in eight areas where drilling has not yet begun. In other areas, where the company has already begun horizontal drilling, the FERC said drilling could continue.

Not yet fully operational, the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline (DAPL) has leaked more than 100 gallons of oil in North Dakota in two separate incidents.
Two barrels, or 84 gallons, spilled due to a leaky flange at a pipeline terminal in Watford City on March 3, according to the North Dakota Health Department. A flange is a section connecting two sections of pipeline. Continue reading “Dakota Access pipeline springs 2 more oil leaks”
MANCHESTER, England — Children were among 22 people killed in a suicide attack after an Ariana Grande concert at Britain’s Manchester Arena, police said early Tuesday.
The bomber also died when he detonated an improvised explosive device near one of the venue’s exits at 10:33 p.m. local time (5:33 p.m. ET) on Monday, according to authorities.

Legislators in Texas have been working toward passing a host of laws to reform the state’s Child Protective Services agency. New legislation has been crafted to improve the agency which has seen multiple dilemmas resulting in detrimental safety problems for children in the state. There have been several bills introduced this year aimed at improving the agency. One bill, in particular, House Bill 39, seeks in part to require medical exams to be performed more quickly on children who have been newly placed into the foster care system. SAN PEDRO, Nuevo León — A team of cartel gunmen executed one of the highest ranking police officers in this metropolitan area. The police chief had previously been threatened by Mexican cartels and had lost a brother to a similar attack.
A surveillance video obtained by Breitbart Texas revealed the moment when a white SUV and a black car surround a police vehicle and unleashed a barrage of gunfire. The UN health agency blows around $200 million a year on travel costs so its honchos can fly business class and stay in five-star hotels — more than what it reserves for battling some of the world’s biggest health crisis, the AP reports. It is now three years since our brother, Diggerdan, left us for what has to be a better place. The passage of time is mind-blowing as the present is devoured and put into the past.
There are often subjects that arise in the Trenches that make me wonder what Dan’s comment would have been. Dan was a unique man and stood out among his contemporaries.
I hope Dan is faring well wherever his spirit lies and look forward to our conversation when I see him again on the other side. Dan’s death was unexpected and there are a lot of questions I would have liked to have asked him. Continue reading “A Salute To Diggerdan”
