Comey will inevitably be remembered for the controversial role he played in the 2016 presidential election, where his agency conducted surveillance of the Trump campaign as well as investigated the Clinton camp for mishandling classified materials, giving both sides arguments for how the FBI ultimately swayed the vote. Weeks after a cross-border invasion of Syria by U.S. forces under the guise of rescuing moderate terrorists from the grips of extremist terrorists in southern Syria, there are signs that a much bigger invasion is set to take place in the near future.
Damascus is now on high alert after footage gathered from a drone revealed the presence of around 400 U.S. and Jordanian military vehicles at a Jordanian military base located near the Syrian desert. The base is located east of az-Zarqa, which is 43 km away from the Syrian border. Tanks were also spotted and were reported to be M60s. A United Nations agency has launched an effort to craft global guidance for the use of laptops and other portable electronics in passenger aircraft cabins after selective bans by the United States and Britain upset airline passengers as well as Middle Eastern carriers.
The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) met on Tuesday to debate the issue after the United Arab Emirates, Egypt and other countries complained their airlines had been unduly penalized by the decision to relegate laptops to the cargo hold on some flights due to security concerns, three sources familiar with the matter said. In a desperate bid to ensure their flip-flopping over Comey is not misunderstood, and the focus of the narrative remains on the “Russia-Trump collusion hoax,” Democrats are demanding they get their say over President Trump’s termination of FBI Director Comey. The ACLU is advising travelers to avoid Texas after the state passed SB4, a new law that allows police officers to investigate a person’s immigration status during a routine traffic stop. The group says that the law will lead to “widespread racial profiling baseless scrutiny, and illegal arrests of citizens and non-citizens alike.” The travel alert applies to both U.S. citizens and those who might be considering a trip to Texas from abroad. Honduras’ deputy foreign minister is preparing for an exodus of Hondurans from Texas after the state outlawed sanctuary cities.
Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed Senate Bill 4 into law on Sunday night, which calls for criminal penalties for sheriffs and police chiefs whose agencies refuse to comply with federal immigration detainers. Travis County, home to Austin, has refused to comply with dozens of immigration detainers including those for immigrants accused of sexual assault. Jerusalem (AFP) – Relatives of a Palestinian family burned alive filed a lawsuit against Israel on Monday demanding it be held responsible and pay damages over the 2015 attack blamed on Jewish extremists in the occupied West Bank.

Mississippi County, MO — Somer Nunnally made a reckless decision to ingest multiple pills and then get behind the wheel of a car. She then wrecked the car and was arrested for DUI and brought to jail. While Nunnally certainly should’ve been held accountable in some fashion, these poor decisions were most assuredly not worthy of a death sentence. But, that’s what she got.

Galveston, TX — According to national mortality statistics, it’s fairly easy to get killed while operating heavy equipment or fishing. But while Jeronimo Zamora Junior of Galveston, TX enjoyed working in both fields, it was police who killed him, not his occupation. And now, the family wants answers.
Zamora’s wife Carrasco called 911 because, as she told reporters, he was having some sort of panic attack. Instead of medics responding like she asked, nine Galveston County Sheriff’s deputies responded, and that’s where things took a turn for the worse.
