Birth tourism involves operators charging pregnant women from foreign countries tens of thousands of dollars to stay in “maternity hotels” in the United States until their children are born as American citizens. Canada’s top military commander issued a detailed set of “pre-pandemic planning” orders on Wednesday for units both at home and overseas.

Gun sales soared in Virginia as Democrats passed several new gun-control measures during February, according to an industry report.
Nearly 66,000 background checks were performed in Virginia in February as the state’s Democratic-controlled legislature weighs a number of strict background checks—a steep increase from the 40,381 checks performed in February 2019. Virginia experienced one of the most dramatic upticks in background checks—a strong indicator of total sales—in the nation, according to data released by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF). RALEIGH — A former factory worker and day care operator whose gun rights speech before the Greensboro City Council in 2018 vaulted him to prominence among conservatives won the Republican nomination for North Carolina’s lieutenant governor on Tuesday in a crowded field.
First-time candidate Mark Robinson also exceeded the 30% threshold needed to win outright and avoid a runoff.
China’s CCP media mouthpiece, Xinhua News, has published a new article titled “Be bold: the world owes China a thank you.”
In it, the author suggests that the coronavirus outbreak is much worse in the United States than authorities are letting on – while noting that President Trump praised China’s measures to control the outbreak during a recent press conference. At least 328 Chinese nationals trying to enter the United States illegally since January have been intercepted by U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials as part of heightened awareness on the borders to block the coronavirus from slipping into the nation.
Officials told Secrets Wednesday that since January, 328 Chinese were “apprehended” and sent back across the border or repatriated consistent with existing policy and procedure. Every effort to contain the virus has failed, cases have started to pop up all over America, and the latest numbers show that it is 34 times more deadly than the flu. And what makes this particular coronavirus even more frightening is the fact that it is so easy to catch. You can become infected simply by breathing in the air around you, it can live on solid surfaces for days, and some victims can carry it around for weeks before ever showing any symptoms. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer called on American college students to serve like Israeli soldiers on their campuses, fighting the boycott movement.
