American software company Salesforce has introduced a $40,000 financial package for its transgender employees around the world, including money for sex change operations and hundreds of dollars for new clothes.
Salesforce will provide its package for employees globally after previously launching it in the United States and Canada. Transgender staff will be able to take four weeks of paid leave and receive $40,000 to pay for sex change surgery, hair transplants, hormone replacement, and legal fees, and will even receive a budget of up to $500 for new clothes “to help them look and feel their best” – one of the newest additions to Salesforce’s package. President Biden’s massive $1.75 trillion spending bill would drop a component of the child tax credit program that could lead to billions in payouts to illegal immigrants.
Tucked away on page 1,647 of the Build Back Better Act, the Democrats’ social spending package, is a provision that would repeal the Social Security number requirement to obtain child tax credits. This change would expand child tax credits to parents of illegal immigrants who don’t have Social Security numbers. A large Covid-19 testing provider is being investigated by the UK’s data privacy watchdog over its plans to sell swabs containing customers’ DNA for medical research.
Cignpost Diagnostics, a government-approved supplier trading as ExpressTest, said it intended to analyse the samples to “learn more about human health”, to develop drugs and products or to sell information to third parties, company documents show. Multiple Jan. 6 defendants were taken out of their cells on stretchers at the District of Columbia jail on Nov. 11, according to a court filing.
The situation started when one of the defendants refused to wear a mask, family members of Kelly Meggs, who is being held in the D.C. jail, told Meggs’s lawyer. Prison guards then began spraying a chemical substance described as “some kind of mace or pepper spray,” according to a filing in federal court. The judge in the Kyle Rittenhouse case has dismissed the charge that the teen was unlawfully carrying a weapon in August 2020 – the only firearms related charge against him (count 6, possession of a dangerous weapon by a person under 18), arguing that the Wisconsin law was poorly written and that the law was not violated by the shorter barrel on the firearm. Progressives have talked about the concept of universal basic income (UBI) for years. The idea behind UBI is that the government would provide, in some way or another, a certain amount of money to everyone as a sort of minimum living standard.
Tied to the UBI concept is the notion of guaranteed income. Guaranteed income is a little different in that not everybody gets the same amount of money every time. Examples of this include Alaska’s payments to residents from the state’s oil investment fund and the casino revenue payments that some Native Americans receive.
