Shocking video has revealed violent caregivers pushing, shoving and holding down a disabled woman.
CCTV footage from two cameras show the women abusing one of the clients at a Mount Dora, Florida, group care home on Tuesday August 13.
All four women seen in the clips were charged with aggravated abuse of a disabled adult and later handed themselves in to police.
They were identified as Sheneka Hester, 42, Breneisha Blunt, 29, and Jaleyah Wiggins, 24, all of Eustis, and Carolyn Joe, 25, of Tavares.
In the first clip the woman, who lives at the home because of ‘diminished mental capacity and inability to care for herself’, is seen on her knees.
She is holding onto a caregiver’s waist but after a few seconds is pushed to the floor.
The woman manages to stand up and tries to follow the caregiver, thought to be Carolyn Joe, but is violently shoved backwards and falls onto a couch.
Around ten other people can be seen in the shared space at the group home, but nobody tries to help the woman or intervene.
In a second clip the woman is seen on the floor of another room while two caregivers stand around her.
One of the women, thought to be Breneisha Blunt, reaches down to the woman and is seen hitting her.
The disabled woman briefly goes out of view of the camera which is pointed at a doorway, but when she is seen again Blunt is holding onto her hair.
The woman, who is face down on the floor, tries to hit Blunt’s legs but is only held down for longer.
Police documents mention this disturbing moment, and said: ‘Breneisha is wearing dark pants and a white shirt in the video.
‘Blunt hits the woman with a closed fist several times, this technique is not authorised.’
Officers said they found the disabled woman with bruising on her face, including a laceration, and a skinned knee.
In court documents Carolyn Joe, who was wearing light colored pants at the time, was said to have also put her foot on the woman’s head.
It said: ‘Carolyn Joe is very heavy set and could have easily caused great bodily harm or even death.’
Melanie Etters, spokeswoman for the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, said all four and the witnesses who failed to intervene are no longer working in the home.
Let’s see…the four “care givers” are black and the patient looks white…racially motivated?
In ’88 I worked in a home owned by a filthy khazar and all they hired was the worst of the worst, and yeah, the contempt and abuse for the elderly white people was horrific. One lady (age early 90’s) lost an eye and her finger was degloved for her wedding band. Perpetrator was fired but returned with a friend and beat up the administrator responsible for her termination. No charges filed even then for fear of racial discrimination suit. This home was rated #1 in the state. I could go on and on and I only worked there for 4 months. Animals can be more civilized. I believe that many (if not MOST) of these obviously unqualified miscreants are hired specifically for their total lack of sensitivity & compassion for their fellow man.
