FOLEY, Minn. (KMSP) –

Federal investigators raided a Foley, Minn. farm on Thursday morning. Officials didn’t reveal the nature of the investigation, but the owner of the farm told Fox 9 all of his migrant workers are there legally.

A helicopter and at least a dozen unmarked SUVS and cars surrounded the central Minnesota house and another dozen surrounded a warehouse on the Svihel Vegetable Farm, which is owned by John and Julie Svihel

John Svihel told Fox 9 he was surprised, and maintained that all of his migrant workers were there legally, supported by the fact that none of them were taken away. Investigators did seize computers and boxes of files, however.

Some agents on-scene were with Homeland Security Investigations, others were with the state department’s law enforcement arm, Diplomatic Security Services (DSS). A DSS spokesperson referred questions to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, and neither offered comment. The common ground between all the agencies present is they investigate VISA fraud and the exploitation of migrant workers, but none of the agencies would confirm if that was the focus of the search, which lasted about 5 hours.

  1. Strange how the U.S. Attorney’s office made no comment. You’d think these serial liars could make up a lie a minute, given their propensity for the art.

  2. “Investigators did seize computers and boxes of files, however.”
If you have something, and someone else can take it away, you don’t and didn’t own it.

  3. Homeland Security Agent, “Who can we f#^k with today. Oh, there’s this organic grower that refuses to use Monsanto products, let’s make an example of them just because we can!” No, I don’t know if he was an “organic” grower in a thriving organics industry. Of course, organic growers are diametrically opposed to anything from the owners, (Monsanto) of our “bought off ” government. Who gains from this raid? They’ll be in Wisconsin again arresting people for drinking raw milk because they’re running out of lame excuses to harass us.

  4. “They’ll be in Wisconsin again arresting people for drinking raw milk because they’re running out of lame excuses to harass us.”

They’ll never run out, Millard. They’ll just keep coming up with even lamer ones, since they seem to care nothing about credibility these days.

They’re dealing with ‘programmed’ idiot box junkies for the most part.

  5. Well, if credibility is not an issue, the Klingon’s are attacking at dawn. They will infiltrate society through Taco Bell. So when you end up “Running for the Border, slash that, bathroom, they’ll be plenty of insidious creatures hanging around! (Klingon definition: dried turd balls cemented onto hairs in immediate proximity to, hey, I’m not gonna take that last step to spoonfeed people that flunked common core.)

          3. That’s “The Trouble with Tribbles”. I must say though #1, there are a lot of people just like the borg, oblivious to what’s right in front of them until whatever it is becomes a threat. Like the police, oblivious to everything until you jaywalk. What Star Trek icon did you dress as during the last “trekkie” convention? 😆

          4. Never been. I was only a fan of the original series.

I do have the first six movies with the original cast, however.

    1. No they weren’t, illegal immigration does not produce “legal” wetbacks. I’m sorry, these invaders come to the Midwest for farm work and end up displacing the lowest rung in the economic ladder. As much of the problem is the lack of morals, work ethic, and failed educational systems, but , most of all, I blame the lack of inspiration, and community leadership to help guide our younger generation. The “owners” dont’ want that. They want dumbed down and drugged up, complacent sheeples to continue their pillage unrestrained.

  6. My hunch is also something to do with “organic law breaking”. Dont eat whats naturally good for you, eat these other veggies that were geneticaly altered and sprayed with chemicals. These are veggies, they are also “good” for you. We are the government would we lie to you?
