Four people have been killed and five others injured in a shooting at a bar in Kansas City, Kansas, early Sunday morning.
Gunfire erupted at the Tequila KC Bar at 1.27am local time, according to police spokesman Thomas Tomasic.
Officers arrived on the scene and found four people dead inside the bar. Five others were transported to the hospital in stable condition.
It is unclear how many shooters were involved. No suspects have been arrested as of 6am CST.
‘We do not have a good enough description yet, to put anything out for a suspect, or suspects, we don’t even know how many,’ Tomasic told CNN.
He added that detectives are looking at surveillance video and are investigating the situation ‘very slowly and methodically’.
Police evacuated the bar and are reportedly waiting on a search warrant to re-enter it.
Local TV station KSHB reported that handgun shells were found on the scene.
This is a developing story.
No suspects people dead, so what else is new?
‘Posted on the door of the bar near 10th Street and Central Avenue is a sign banning firearms’ That usually stops criminals I don’t know what else could have gone wrong here.
“Local TV station KSHB reported that handgun shells were found on the scene.”
So… we’re to be spared the pitiful ‘deadly assault rifle’ narrative, I take it?
One can only hope.
