Here is a bit of interesting info I compile each year.
Safe States: Well, just like every year, according to the FBI Annual Crime Report, NH, VT, ME, are the 3 safest states, as relating to violent crime. The only 3 states mind you, with a violent crime rate of under 200 per 100,000 people. (source: https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2016/crime-in-the-u.s.-2016/topic-pages/tables/table-3 ).
I have been checking these crime stats put out each year by the FBI for 20 years now (ever since I moved to NH), and the numbers for these 3 states are always low (NH Always in the top 5 lowest). On to the stats: New Hampshire’s rate was 197.6 per 100,000. Maine’s rate was 123.3 per 100,000. And Vermont’s rate was 158.3 per 100,000.
NH, VT, & ME all have Constitutional Carry; which means no permit is required to carry a concealed handgun. NH and VT also have almost no gun control of any kind (things like magazine bans, or assault weapons bans, and no permits are required to purchase firearms, ect…). No gun control, yet low violent crime? Hmmm? If you listen to the liberal mindset, this should not be the case. We should be awash in violence, with all these guns and little to no restrictions on them. yet the exact opposite is true.
The highest Violent crime rates? Alaska came in at 804.2 per 100,000. New Mexico came in at 702.5 per 100,000. Nevada came in at 678.1 per 100,000. Tennessee came in at 632.9 per 100,000. Arkansas at 550.9 per 100,000. And Alabama at 532.3 per 100,000. But once again, as is the case every year, the highest violent crime rate per 100,000 goes to: Washington DC at 1205.9 per 100,000.
Just thought I would pass this on. Shows that More Guns does equal Less Crime!

This appears to be the case. But in reality; the crime rate is directly tied to the percentage of non whites in a community. The exception to this; are areas of extreme poverty; where even whites commit more violent crimes. N.H. seems to be around 93% white.
