Homeland Security seeks thieves who stole 43 propane tanks

Fox News

Police are trying to find two men who they say stole 43 propane tanks from two industrial sites in the last week, and have alerted their Homeland Security division as a safety measure.

Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum says the division has been alerted because of the number and size of some of the tanks taken “out of an abundance of caution.”

Police have also released surveillance video showing two men pulling up to one of the businesses in a Ford Escape and a 1990s Dodge or Chrysler minivan.

Police say some of the tanks could hold as much as 100 pounds of propane.

Lt. Rosenbaum says police just “want to make sure it’s nothing sinister.” He said they are treating them as industrial thefts, “unless we come up with something else.”

  1. “Lt. Rosenbaum says police just “want to make sure it’s nothing sinister.”

    The pigs don’t like ‘sinister’.

    Unless they’re the perpetrators.

  2. There’s been an awful lot of propane cylinder talk recently. I smell a ff coming down the pike as tptb smell potential avenues of retribution and resistance and wish to minimize it. “Muslims” will do it first and a regulation will be enacted that will make it difficult for REAL dissidents or terrorists (i.e. patriots) to use in reality. My worthless 2cents.

  3. Maybe these went to a homeless camp. average minivan has 150 cubit feet of cargo space, hear are the average sizes of tanks: How many can go in a minivan?

A BBQ propane tank measures approximately 18 inches high by 12.5 inches in diameter.
A 30 lb. propane tank measures approximately 24 inches high by 12.5 inches in diameter.
A 40 lb. propane tank measures approximately 29 inches high by 12.5 inches in diameter.
A 100 lb. propane tank measures approximately 48 inches high by 14.5 inches in diameter.

  4. Go to you tube and type in “hell cannon”

It’s an improvised howistzer they can make out of the propane tank and some easy fabrication

Been a tool over in Syria for a long time

  5. Phone call from DHS to FBI: do you have any assets stealing propane tanks around the country, for one of your false flags?
FBI: (Canned response No.#1) The FBI never comments on ongoing investigations.
DHS: Look, were suppose to be on the same side.
FBI:(Canned response No.#2) The FBI can neither confirm, nor deny, our involvement in stolen propane tanks.
    Who is running the asylum?
