How poor people survive in the USA

Nov 27, 2019

Homelessness, hunger and shame: poverty is rampant in the richest country in the world. Over 40 million people in the United States live below the poverty line, twice as many as it was fifty years ago. It can happen very quickly.

  1. I ONLY GOT TO THE BRAINWASHED MINER THAT WAS A “TRUMP FAN”, BECAUSE “TRUMP DID WHAT HE SAID HE WOULD DO”. ITS MORONS LIKE THESE THAT HAVE NO DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR SITUATION THAN,” THATS JUST THE WAY IT IS”…………..YOU COULD TELL THE LIGHTS WERE ON, BUT WASNT ANYONE HOME.
    AND.
    IT VOTES!!!!!
    TALK ABOUT BRAINWASHED!!

    1. HE IS THE “TYPE OF VOTER” THAT….., IN LIEU OF HANGING, TO BE GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO BECOME A PATRIOT, AND PROFESS LOYALTY TO THE BILL OF RIGHTS, AFTER IT IS READ AND EXPLAINED…….
IN HIS CURRENT STATE OF MIND, TRUMP IS IN HIS EYES,
      “A KING”.
OH MY WORD, AM I AGREEING WITH THE CONCEPT OF RE EDUCATION CAMPS?
      WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK?

  2. I feel shame. It’s very difficult to hear a foreign reporter telling of the plight of our homeless, our nation. And on Thanksgiving. But I thank you for posting, Mark, for making me a bit uncomfortable and uneasy, and guilty that I have not done more to reclaim not only our rights, but our resources and our manufacturing. I hope the communist oppressors that have ruined our country are luxuriating in their abundance today, and that some how in the midst of all that, all their abundance, they get a glimpse of our suffering people and witness what they have put on humanity. I’m thankful my eyes saw this today. It’s that Jim Hightower quote: “Politics isn’t about left versus right; it’s about top versus bottom.” Not easy to see that the bottom will only take so much and soon something has to give. Bless the hungry and homeless today. May they get what they need to feel human.

THAT WAS A SORE SPOT WITH ME AS WELL GALEN.

  3. Those who are already homeless have at least one advantage over those who aren’t (yet).

    Survival skills attained through necessity.

Those who are very well off and living comfortably (obviously not referring to Trenchers) will be at a huge disadvantage once the SHTF, when the ‘safety net’ disappears… and they become homeless as well.

    1. I havent had a home for 16 years, that’s how long I’ve been on the street. This job keeps me alive. Living in a truck all those years.

Two major surgeries and cancer of the colon, yep….time to start saving for a house on wheels for when the SHTF.

      1. I have a friend (ex-enemy turned friend, actually) who became a long-haul trucker (AFTER he finally quit tweaking), but he bought himself a nice place somewhere in Arkansas. It’s well off the beaten path (about 10 miles of gravel road to reach it), he has his own natural spring (says it’s the best water he’s ever tasted), and his nearest neighbor builds guns in his garage all day long (Winkdog owns a couple dozen himself). It’s definitely a highly defensible area, from what he’s told me.

He’s been inviting me there for years, but I never had the chance to check it out (waking up pretty much changed my whole life’s agenda).

  4. I watched this with not only sadness but with much anger. This rich country should never see American Nationals living this way. I am thankful to those that do what they can for others in need. We must take care of each other if we are able to do so otherwise what’s the point?
