Excellent Miniseries! Well worth watching, if you can. HBO showed it back-to-back yesterday (7 episodes/hours). Very appropriate for Independence Day. (Yes, we watched it. Will re-watch it ANY time we can find it.) I also loved the scene (final episode) when Adams was asked his opinion of the “official painting” that was suppose to depict the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The official painting was a gross fiction that an artist created. The signing and writing of the D.O.I. did not happen in a single night in a single room. It took place during war time over a period of time. Undercover for the most part. enjoy!
Absolutely! That’s what I loved about the scene of Adams nailing the painter on his “artist’s license.” 🙂 😉 Wanted to post the scene, but could find it. (There are Many scenes that I would like to post. 🙂 Heck, I’d post the whole series if I could. LOL)
Good job posting this one, desertfox12.
Thank you. 🙂
Thanks for posting this desertfox12. I climbed into bed and realized that I didn’t thank you, as I did Angel for posting this piece to the miniseries. It’s on my list of things to watch. Have a great night.
