Man Surrenders All His Guns to Make a Statement After Vegas Attack

Breitbart – by AWR Hawkins

Phoenix, Arizona, resident Jonathan Pring called police and surrendered all of his guns in hopes of making a statement following the heinous attack on concertgoers in Las Vegas.

According to 12 News, Pring said the Vegas attack made him “think about what was important in life,” and he listed family as number one. He then said, “I would hate for that to happen to my family and it suddenly made me think how ridiculous this whole gun debate is in America. So, one immediate thing that I could do was hand over my guns,” he said. “I’m one less civilian that has guns.”

He did not discuss the soaring death rate in Chicago, where law-abiding citizens want guns for self-defense but are unable to acquire them due to a myriad of bureaucratic obstacles and the cost prohibitive process one must be able to navigate and afford to secure a gun. Instead, he gave up his guns, thereby guaranteeing that he cannot shoot back if a criminal breaches the threshold of his front door.

But he does not appear bothered that he will be unarmed in the event of a home invasion. Rather, he quotes Gandhi, who said, “Be the change you want to see in the world”.

Pring does remind would-be criminals that he keeps a baseball bat for home defense and “he knows how to defend his family.”

Ironically, Arizona law prohibits police departments from destroying guns that come into their possession. They are required to sell the firearms. Therefore, instead of making America a nation with one less armed citizen, Pring’s two surrendered firearms may end up in the hands of two new armed citizens.

  1. “Phoenix, Arizona, resident Jonathan Pring called police and surrendered all of his guns in hopes of making a statement following the heinous attack on concertgoers in Las Vegas.”

    Yep, he made a statement;
    Several, actually:
    1) “I am a complete idiot, and you may all laugh at my stupidity now.”
    2) “I am no longer able to defend myself, family or property against any criminals, so “Hey guys, come and get me”.”
    3) “I won’t be among those who have the means to defend our nation against tyranny.”

What an utter and completely blind fool.

    1. Arizona law prohibits law enforcement from destroying firearms, and they are REQUIRED to sell those firearms to a licensed dealer and use the funds so generated for law enforcement expenses.

So, those firearms were not “surrendered” as much as the were “donated” to provide funds for the police from the sale of those firearms. Those firearms will eventually wind up being sold to another private citizen, hopefully one with more common sense than this Pring numbskull, which would not take much.

I live in Arizona and I personally own a LOT more than just two firearms, and I am NOT surrendering any of them. There are a whole lot of others in our county, high up in the Arizona mountains, who feel the same way. I know one guy up here who had to construct a separate building on his property just to hold all of his firearms.

THAT is the kind of guy to have as a friend, not this “Prancing Pringling” moron.

  2. Nice, Darzak:-) Yep, he’s free to do so if he feels so. F’g idiot.

Now his next “come to Jesus” moment is someone else’s choice, and he’s NOT free to choose. Here’s to wishing you only what you truly deserve, jonathan.

  3. Good luck defending your family with that assault style baseball bat when the intruder is armed with a Ruger.
When the sh-t hits the fan, he’ll be one of the first ones dead.
    What a dumba$$.

  4. Jonathan Pring? He don’t sound like an Irishman. No, he’s a tribal ground worker. Making a ‘statement”, planting that statement, disseminating that statement. Teamwork!

  5. Btw His “big ol’ machine gun” is a tacti-cooled ruger 10/22 and his sidearm is a Walther 380. He’s used to turning in guns, anyway. What a faggot.

  6. He also surrendered his wife his kids and his dog. After that he surrendered his pink panties and did naked back flip off the top of the Mandalay Bay.

  7. What an idiot. HE’S D.A.S. (dumb as shit) Now everyone knows he is unarmed and easy picking. The irony is, he was obviously a responsible gun owner, which should be noted and highlighted but the MSN won’t bring that fact up. This fool has given into hysteria and lost not only his guns but also the money invested in them. Can’t wait until his home is burglarized while he’s there —-he’ll be wishing he, had his guns back.

  8. Can we now classify him in the category of:

THOSE WHO DO NOT HAVE OUR BACKS!!?
(a sub-group of society whose members have lost their minds)

    .

  9. “I would hate for that to happen to my family and it suddenly made me think how ridiculous this whole gun debate is in America. So, one immediate thing that I could do was hand over my guns,” he said. “I’m one less civilian that has guns.”

You sir, are an idiot. Words cannot describe the level of stupidity displayed by this moron.

  10. Now tell the world that you are making a stand
against another killer, global warming by
    killing yourself.

One less idiot wasting natural resources.

Then and only then will I believe that you are
    truly serious in your convictions.

    1. LoL. That’s pretty funny Scott1.
Maybe the guy should hang himself, thereby reducing the carbon emissions on the planet by 1 quintillionth of a percentage point.
Then we would know that he was truly serious.
      LoL.

  11. So he turns in all his guns to stop gun violence. Maybe he’ll turn in his wife to stop sex trafficking and his kids to stop child abuse or help the cause of NAMBLA…When he turns himself in to aid the cause of ending mental illness, let me know…
