Story Leak – by Anthony Gucciardi
Police had setup numerous positions in a private building above the Alamo Constitution march that amassed around 1,000 individuals to come out and take a stand for their dwindling rights. And as expected, a heavy police presence brought forward mass surveillance of the entire event — but it wasn’t even the surveillance that concerned me. Instead, it was the fact that the police could film us (and ignore us asking about it), but around the nation if we even dare attempt to film the police we can be thrown in jail with heavy charges.
In a video that’s coming shortly, I actually confronted officers over the filming and posed the question as to whether or not there would be such a heavy police presence (and filming) if the event were not based around the Constitution and the Second Amendment. For example, I asked if there would be such heavy surveillance for a cancer walk, or how about a gun control rally? The officer told me that ‘any large gathering’ will have heavy surveillance, but the reality is that just down the street two other gatherings had been planned that the officers paid absolutely no mind to.
