Navy fires commander of strategic air wing; cites investigation and ‘loss of confidence’

Daily Reporter – by Robert Burns

WASHINGTON — The Navy fired the commander of an organization whose aircraft allow the president and the secretary of defense to directly contact the submarines, bombers and land-based missiles that comprise the nation’s strategic nuclear force.

A Navy statement said Capt. Heather E. Cole was relieved of her duties as commander of Strategic Communications Wing 1, based at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, for what it called a “loss of confidence” in her ability to lead.

A spokeswoman, Cmdr. Jeannie Groeneveld, said the firing was based on findings of an investigation into her management of the wing. Details were not released.

Cole’s air wing has no role in operating nuclear weapons but is responsible for the Navy squadrons whose E-6B Mercury aircraft provide communications links between the president and the nuclear forces.

  1. “A spokeswoman, Cmdr. Jeannie Groeneveld, said the firing was based on findings of an investigation into her management of the wing. Details were not released.”

And brazen enough to use a spokeswoman with such a nice traditional Dutch jooish name to inform us.

Not verified yet but just wondering. ..

  2. “… was relieved of her duties as commander of Strategic Communications Wing 1, based at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, for what it called a “loss of confidence” in her ability to lead.”

Or her inability to bow to the communist agenda.

  3. I think your all correct. cracker, Martist, Millard and #1. You all hit the bullseye.
I’m not trying to put a scare into anyone but it sounds to me like the jewcomms just took over the communication net that controls the US,s nukes. They could put them on permanent stand down (that sounds familiar) or could maybe order one launched at a specific target.
    I sure hope I’m wrong.

    1. Yes, the purging of any threat to Obama in the military continues. I do believe the military is probably deemed his most imminent threat so replace all the leaders with your “Yes” men on their knees making that “sucking” sound.

  4. I apologize for possibly spreading a conspiracy theory but I just saw a report on Jim Stone’s website that stated a Navy Captain was relieved of duty for refusing to release Nuclear Launch Codes against Russia. I just thought I’d throw that into the mix.

  5. Here’s what I found regarding the Nuke thing:
    http://www.jimstone.is/
    Rumors of refused nuclear strike?
There is a rumor going around the web that a Navy captian refused to relay launch codes and start a nuclear war. It usually goes something like this:
“I’ve heard that this female Navy Captain was relieved of duty for failure to start a nuclear war with Russia. She would not relay the nuclear launch codes. I’ve no idea if it is true.”

    My response(Jim Stone’s response)

Don’t waste your time with this. Need I say more?

  6. “…a “loss of confidence” in her ability to lead…”

Sounds to me like she didn’t want to have sex with Hillary.

  7. Allowing for the possibility this woman was unjustly removed: Nevertheless, no woman should be in charge of any combat deployments, military strategy or combat units, period. One of the reasons for the degradation of combat effectiveness in our military is the now elevation of women into combat support and leadership roles.

Women, by nature, are subjective in their reasoning, they look at things the way they should be or the way they think they should be. Men, by nature are objective, that is they look at things the way they are.

It has been revealed decades back of the debilitating effect of women in the military, both on its warrior culture and combat effectiveness. Women in leadership roles is a curse on a nation and its defenses; Marxist literature has for years has worked to bring women into leadership roles in order to sabotage a nations military. Although, they have their places as officer personal, secretaries and nurses, women should never have command over men, never. Even biblically it is said that when God sends a curse on a nation, women are elevated to powers of command and the young terrorize the olds. Good riddance.

  8. e-6b mercury,
the same white planes we seen on 9-11 flying high over the pentagon and wtc? me thinks so.

This plane handles com and data transmissions from many other aircraft, ground and satellites. I wonder how hard it would be to control a drone from that platform???

perhaps just steer a cruise missile…
