New Government Surveillance System Links All Cameras Together, Even Knows Who You Are

AlterNews

As the ever continuing effort to prevent further terrorist attacks ensue, a sneaky new program – by none-other than the government is coming into the light. It effectively makes the NSA phone tapping program pale in comparison as it not only listens to you, but watches you as well.

Created by an “independent” company, the new video surveillance system is called TrapWire and is already currently operating, “at every [high value target] in NYC, DC, Vegas, London, Ottawa and LA.” Just like out of the television show “Person of Interest,” the TrapWire unites every accessible camera – within the program – sending video feed to a centralized analysis center.

The TrapWire program aims at being able to identify an otherwise unrecognizable threat. Whether it be a strange parked car, or person acting a bit different, it is said to be able to watch and analyze video determining threats at a higher accuracy rate than several humans.

  1. if you have a home security system with cameras and a DVR that will allow you to go real time on your home video..don’t allow that, don’t imput the necessary email address and passwords and don’t link it to your wifi..
also don’t link it to your smart phone

if you do as I said above they cant get in, at least for now

  2. We had these new intersection cameras go in about a year ago. We already had “red light” and “speed” cameras. These were different. They puzzle us.

They send out a bright flash at random, when the lights change. They are on poles, with two cameras facing in different directions. One towards the intersection and the other towards the traffic. But they are aimed kind of funny, and the placement (locations chosen) seems weird.

One thing that seems odd is the the random flashing of the camera– we look around and cannot see a single car that has “tripped” it by being over the line or running the light or speeding.

So we have been wondering if this is a different type of surveillance camera, perhaps a streaming video camera with the flashing lights put there just to trick us into thinking it is one of those intersection/red light cameras (the old ones are still up, by the way). In other words, streaming video disguised as a single snapshot camera.

    Cameras EVERYWHERE.

  3. TrapWire is the code name for the FBI’s own photo-video recognition system, they have had it for many years and that is where it comes from. The fact the FBI already had this, yet asked for “help” identifying the Boston Bombers they already knew shows how corrupt our Government is.

    1. What ‘Boston bombers’?

You mean the two patsies they accused of perpetrating a ‘bombing’ that never happened?

  4. Come to Texas. We have cameras on almost every street light and intersection in the state. They say it is to monitor traffic in order to find ways to improve the roads (bullshit), while others are clearly “photo enforced” tickets which no one ever really pays and the police don’t really enforce because everyone knows the damn things are a bunch of revenue generators used for that purpose.
